Translated by the great ‪@sr.clumsy7802‬
This song is about the 'father' of the Mexican nation, about his fight for 'independence' against the Viceroy of New Spain, despite the actual reason was to defend the interests of the Spanish king who was in-exile at the time. On September 16th 1810, he launched a revolt in Dolores, Guanajuato and traveled north and plundered cities along the way until he was captured in the state of Coahuila. He was then transferred to CD Chihuahua to be excommunicated and then executed in 1811. He was killed, but his fight for independence didn't die with him, as the insurgency in New Spain has grown out of the Spanish's control. After a decade of fighting, the insurgency captured Mexico City in 1821 and proclaimed their independence. Chaos would then engulf Mexico immediately after it's Independence, but I prefer not to talk about that....
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Libertad (Independencia)
Libertad (que no haya exclavos)
Libertad (a mis hermanos)
Que todos siempre
Se den las manos
Libertad (independencia)
Libertad (gritan los criollos)
Libertad (no olviden algo)
Que viva siempre
Miguel Hidalgo
Libertad (Independencia)
Libertad (que no haya exclavos)
Libertad (a mis hermanos)
Que todos siempre
Se den las manos
Libertad (independencia)
Libertad (gritan los criollos)
Libertad (no olviden algo)
Que viva siempre
Miguel Hidalgo
Libertad (Independencia)
Libertad (que no haya exclavos)
Libertad (a mis hermanos)
Que todos siempre
Se den las manos
Libertad (independencia)
Libertad (gritan los criollos)
Libertad (no olviden algo)
Que viva siempre
Miguel Hidalgo

Some notes:
- Guanajuato is a state in Central Mexico, close to Mexico City
- Allende, Morelos, and Aldama were important figures in Mexico's fight for independence (There was seriously a lot of historical figures that took part in the war)
- 'Criollo', translated as "Creole", was a term used in the infamous & complicated caste system, for Spaniards born in the Americas
- 'Gachupine' was a term for peninsular Spaniards that lived in Latin America, mostly Mexico
- Coahuila is a state in Northern Mexico; but during the times of the Viceroy and first Mexican Empire, it was named Nueva Extremadura
- Chihuahua, in the song's context, is a city in northern Mexico, is the capital city of the state with the same name. Along with Coahuila, it had a different name during the same periods of time, which was Nueva Vizcaya
(I was born in the state of Chihuahua)

@HesaVushu I knew this song was about the Miguel Hidalgo and Mexican War of Independence. I just did not know who wrote the song, when it was written, and part of the lyrics because my Spanish is not that good.
