Why? He became the greatest swordsman by being better than young Shanks. He became a yonko 8 years after the fact. Not 2 years like Blackbeard, yet he was also the youngest yonko before Luffy. Mihawk is a shishibukai. If he was that strong, why wouldn't he do like Rayleigh and just not give a fuck? Not possible
@@LKZ405so you're saying shanks became much stronger than Mihawk with one arm but couldn't do that when he had his dominant arm? How does that make sense? Whitebeard mentioned his duels with mihawk to be legendary why wouldn't he say someone else's name if shanks fought someone stronger than Mihawk after he stopped dueling him.. when shanks lost his arm they thought it was mihawk who did that but why would they think that if mihawk wasn't capable of doing that? Just because shanks became yonko doesn't mean he became stronger than Mihawk while mihawk remained stagnant.. shanks as far as we know didn't fight anyone in the level of mihawk or stronger to become yonko cuz otherwise whitebeard would've mentioned him... That's why it makes no sense that shanks with one arm became stronger than Mihawk while fighting no one in that level
@LKZ405 Reading comprehension clearly isn't your strong suit. Young Mihawk used to go around taking down Marines, which is why he got the Marine Hunter title. At some point, he then became the greatest swordsman and the only person he had to spar against was Shanks. Shanks lost his arm, Mihawk lost motivation and joined the Shichibukai out of boredom. Wild how Oda has made Buggy a Yonko and Shichibukai to show it isn't an accurate measure of strength and people still say goofy shit like Mihawk was just a Shichibukai
most people completely ignore the fact that if the user does not recognize his own conquerors, or hasn't shown it off in the series yet, then the vivre card will say that they don't have it. like zoro not having conquerors on the vivre card, despite his use of advanced conquerors in wano and egghead. the only reason it says he doesn't have conquerors is because he doesn't know that he has it.
Wouldn't you agree that the mere fact Zoro named his attacks KOH means he knows he's using adv CoC? It literally shows a distinction between his previous attacks and the new one.
The thing is, his card didn't say he doesn't have it; it just didn't mention him having it or not. Big difference. And they have heen inaccurate before as well (e.g. saying Yasuei didn't eat a SMILE, etc).
A character having Conquerors Haki won't be revealed in Vivre Cards if it's going to be revealed as a Hype Moment in the Manga later on Sengoku and Kidd were revealed to be Conquerors haki users in the VivreCard, that's cuz Oda was never planning to draw their Conquerors Haki in the Manga But Garp wasn't revealed to be a CoC user in the VC, cuz Garp would end up showing it Later on in the Manga That's why the VC doesn't "Spoil" Mihawk and Dragon as Conquerors Haki users, even tho we know they have it Cuz Oda will draw them using CoC in a Hype way in the Manga later on
always did. The wiki is biased. Dragon as been mentionned to be a conqueror at least 3 times yet he is not on the wiki. Garp has 0 manga mentions but he's official. Bias
This is a catch 22, either people admit he managed to clash with shanks as a rival without Conquerors, or he does. I believe the former to be more embarrassing
@@takebacktheholyland9306 What ? He was in stalemade against a young Shanks, when he had two hands. We know that after the loose of his hand, Shanks has become so much stronger that he becomes a yonko. But for Mihawk we don't know how much he has glow up. So yes Mihawk was in stalemade against a young Shanks, but today we don't know
More emberassing if you believe Shanks did not adapt to become the youngest yonko, not strongest. Shanks took 8 years to become an emperor and the New World is a lot harder to thrive in than paradise. It should be unanimous that Mihawk only became greatest swordman after Shanks lost his arm, you seem to be overlloking that very important element. Mihawk did not surpass Shanks. He got gravely injured. It should be safe to assume everyone that injuries lead to being more prone to adaptation as it as been displayed at many occasions. Like Koby during Marineford. Rayleigh mentionning it to Luffy during his fight against Katakuri. Not being able to see and have a better progression at observation haki. The same way he trained with Rayleigh. So how's is it any different? It would be emberassing for Shanks to be so weak against someone like Jozu or Vista. He stopped the war. Should these guys stall him? Impossible. Especially after he one tapped Kid similar to Kaido with Luffy post WCI.
@@Delta-xm9cd In Chapter 1058, Oda addressed many power-scaling questions about Mihawk. "Former Warlord Mihawk possesses greater/stronger sword skills than the 'Emperor' Red-Haired. As the Strongest Swordsman in the World, Mihawk is worth 3.59 billion berries." 1. Oda established in Chapter 1058 that Mihawk possesses the strongest sword skills in the entire verse (which remain unrevealed for now) and that these skills far exceed those of Emperor Shanks (e.g., Divine Departure). If you read carefully, you'll notice that Oda compared Mihawk to the current Emperor Shanks, not to Shanks from 12 years ago, meaning that the current Emperor Shanks is still weaker than Mihawk. This is why Oda stated that Mihawk is indeed the strongest swordsman in the world, not the current Emperor Shanks. If Shanks can defeat a pirate worth 3 billion berries with a single strike using his sword skills (e.g., Divine Departure), imagine what would happen if the strongest swordsman in the world (Mihawk) unleashed the most powerful sword skills/techniques in the entire verse of One Piece? I bet it would be overwhelming, and many people wouldn’t be prepared for it. 2. Oda debunked the notion that Mihawk is merely a Warlord and cannot be compared to Shanks because Shanks is an Emperor. Oda emphasized in Chapter 1058 that Mihawk is at an Emperor level but does not care about the Yonko title, as long as he can live in peace. Lastly, the only reason Shanks is weaker compared to Mihawk is that Shanks did not reach his peak potential because he sacrificed his dominant left arm for the new generation. Mihawk fans and true Shanks fans understand the magnitude of Shanks' sacrifice in giving up his dominant arm for the new generation. Although Shanks retained his tremendous Haki, his swordsmanship was compromised, which is why Shanks will not be able to reach his peak potential and will never be called the Strongest Swordsman in the World. That is why Oda gave Mihawk the title of Strongest Swordsman in the World: because currently, Mihawk is greater than or slightly above the current Emperor Shanks, who has only one arm, not the Shanks from 12 years ago, who had two arms and the potential to reach his peak and defeat Mihawk. Sadly, that is no longer the case, as he sacrificed his peak potential for the new era.
Mihawk has it. His ambition was to be the strongest swordsman. He obtained that title, but didn't get it by defeating Shanks for it. They suspended their rivalry and went their separate ways. Mihawk doesn't display his conquerors haki simply because he knows that there is no one on the sea who can defeat him in a 1v1 except Shanks, and there is no one actively competing for his title. There aren't many people who have it on the sea to begin with, so he wouldn't use it because it would be considered overkill. When he faces Zoro or another conqueror, it'll be revealed and THEN it will be on his vivre card.
People have to be actually slow garp virve card states he is user of armament and observation it’s obviously something oda is holding out on. How have people read thousand plus chapter and don’t realises one piece is game of patience’s we’ve literally seen Shanks a chapter one character do one attack 😐
Nothing is new here Besides his food likes and dislikes We know this and more from his old vivre card This is not a stat sheet It is a info sheet that updates when oda shows us more The very first thing we ever hear of mihawk is he can kill a man with a glare That is literally conquers haki Its a buffed up version of conquers knockout His former rival His student His bounty His title His power It all points to conquers and i mean insane lvls of all 3 He has a black blade Is called hawkeye And can kill a man with a glare
Black blades are only armament haki which is why he told zoro he can make his a black blade after only learning armament haki and neither knowing he had conquerors or that he'd activate it. I don't know where all this conquerors nonsense started, I know there is mystery to them still but that mystery doesn't have to do with conquerors. There is a note in one of the road to laughtale volumes where it implies it takes haki and some other factor to turn it black. So it would be armament and a seperate factor but nothing in the show has ever implied conquerors is involved.
Ok so why is there only stated to be two people to do the entire thing in the whole show. Coating your blade In armament is a temporary thing(and armament isn’t even visible in one piece world. Ex:marineford). But yoru is always black despite mihawk not fighting
Mihawk doesnt strike me as a Conqueror anyway. He doesnt want to lead, hell he doesnt even want to be the Strongest Swordsman, he just is. He just likes fighting people and if it were possible, fighting people stronger than him. Other than that he just wants to chill in his fuckin Castle. He doesnt have ambition like Supreme Kings do.
Bad argument when there's multiple people who doesn't have kingly ambition yet they are conquerors example whitebeard garp katakuri Rayleigh etc. mihawk has already achieved his dream so he doesn't to go around saying "I want to be the WSS".. kaido is a conqueror and yet the sole purpose of his life was to die by the hands of someone stronger than him how is that any different from Mihawk wanting to have a worthy fight and possibly defeated by someone
Garp still has a total of 0 mentions of conquerors haki. Dragon has at the very least 3 and it is still not "official". Garp would have a mention by now. He is present. Oda has had p-l-e-n-t-y of ccasions to mention it. During Marineford when Luffy uses it? Gets compared to Dragon by a marine officer when Garp is right behind 🥲
You're really not smart for making the "no mentions" argument. The story frequently doesn't mention things that are obvious, like Garp having Conqueror's. Just so you know, there were also no "mentions" of Luffy using Advanced Conqueror's from Chapter 1010 to 1045.
