I always wondered how many other people out there had the power of an admiral/yonko? Fujotra and Green Bull were drafted into the military. That means they were just out there with Admiral-tier strength and no one mentioned them until they joined the Marines.
In my interpretation 大海賊 is more like “the legendary pirate” meaning they must have accomplished something great making them a “legend” instead of a role given when a pirate crosses a bounty threshold or based on how dangerous they are like how Yonkos are assigned. Newgate is “legendary” because he is the strongest man, Kaido would also be “legendary” because he is the strongest creature. Teach and Luffy aren’t 大海賊 because they aren’t “legends”. These “legends” must be influential instead of just a dangerous pirate and the title is usually given to characters out of reach, like how Shanks was to Syrup Village Usopp, or pirates of the last era like Roger, Shiki or Xebec. TLDR 大海賊 should be usable interchangeably with “legend”.

Rayleigh knows what and where the OP is so none of the Roger pirates that went can be a yonko because they’re not close to the OP they’re passed it, Shiki would’ve been Niko?, or Sanko? Forgive my ignorance on the semantics of the words, he would’ve married and manipulated big mom, and taken Wano before Kaido mastered his DF or manipulated him as well and stomped out shanks before 18th bday, and WB or sengoku, garp, Kuzan, borsalino, and sakazuki used him to climb the ranks
this is the problem, oda revealing important stuff in other sources not everyone will read. if shiki is really so important, why is he only in a non canon movie and flashbacks? it doesn't make sense.
this theory is so good it has to be. oda has literally writtin it so that this works 100%, not only how their relationship works, but also robins personality and the situation with her mysterious father and ohara and everything. Amazing video
I wonder how many people who dislike this Theory are Luffy X Robin Shippers. Because I feel like I've gone down that Wormhole a lot. But Luffy and Robin seems Niche in some cases but might have a bigger following or a louder following than it seems.
