Here is my piano arrangement of Miiro, the energetic opening song of Kantai Collection I used to like the ED song Fubuki more, but recently I can't stop looping Miiro whenever I am playing the Kancolle browser game.
The song is just so powerful and AKINO's passionate voice is simply amazing. That's why this piano cover is designed rather straight-forward, very true to the original song with a very powerful left hand bass. This arrangement is basically 100% raw power and piano guitar-riffs.
sighs I think am wasting way too much time on the Kancolle Browser game and there's no end in sight. Every day the same procedure, leveling up your shipgirls, farming more repair buckets. I love and hate the game at the same time.
Anyway, this makes the third Kancolle upload in a row, so you have a rough imagination how much Kancolle has influenced me recently. I also can't stop buying Kancolle figures and any kind of Kancolle merchandise, the rabbit hole goes very very deep now...
On the other hand, the spring anime season 2015 is really good, I am following more than 10 shows currently and they all have huge potential. My favorite series is currently OregaIru Season 2. I'll upload again, as soon as the full OP/ED singles has been released!

Theishter - Anime on Piano wow, you have really good ears! indeed, I positioned my mics nearer to the bass strings, since the steinway grand pianos have natural "emphasis" on the mid/high strings. Also, the sound is a bit less "muddy" because I positioned the 2nd pair of microphones (in charge of capturing the reverb) a bit closer to the grand piano. I think I'll keep this setup as my default recording setup for my future videos.

Edit: Now time to comment for real :D 0:17 to 0:27 I love left hand staccato :D 0:38 to 0:46 DEM LEFT HAND MELODY!! :D Something I had never really been able to do, but always amazes my ears :3 1:32 to 1:42 More left hand melodies yay! =D 2:43 to 3:00 The left hand chord progression has a nice different touch which is really nice :D 3:38 to 3:45 I love it when the bass octaves notes are played with much forte, and then letting go of the pedal to control the timing of it :D I sub-consciously did it on my recent arrangements too I just realized :3 4:17 to 4:21 Nice finishing move! Awesome cover! Oh wait, from my RU-vid experience, majority of people like to use the word "awesome". I have an even better word, LEGENDARY Cover! :D P.S. Just when I thought you'd exhausted your endless bag of techniques, you took it to a whole new level. The sound quality is absolutely AMAZING. The brightness of the piano really rings through. When I noticed you did the transcription of Kantai Collection (The ED one), I was hoping you'd do the OP as well, especially due to having listened to your transcription of the Amagi Brilliant Park OP (also done by Akino). ***** Mich hat er irgendwie etwas demotiviert Klavier zu spielen da er einfach so Perfekt spielen konnte und ich dauernd Fehler mache und dachte das ich niemals so gut spielen kann. Aber seitdem ich Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso gesehen habe, habe ich gelernt das man alles schafft wenn man sich bloß anstrengt und das man aus seinen Fehlern lernen muss. Und jetzt habe ich auch mehr Spaß am Klavierspielen :)
