Whilst driving back from filming this wedding, I remember thinking back to our first conversation we had with Mikal and Marnu.
From the get-go they were so intentional about every little detail; and throughout the whole wedding day you could see the effort they put into celebrating the day.
On their wedding day itself, the smallest things made them so excited, like putting their rings on for the first time!
Somewhere in an unused audio clip, someone said this as they heard from far away how the bridesmaids reacted to seeing Mikal; “Wow that sounds rough! It's just tears and champagne today”. I think it's a perfect and accurate description for the beautiful day.
Lots of emotion, but also so much celebration, together with all their family and loved ones!
