This is my childhood right here, absolutely love this. Hard to believe they got away with some of these gags in the mid 90's, it would never be on kids' TV now!
I have this theory that Angelo is a Time Lord. Angelo has a ship, that can disguise itself as anything, and is bigger on the inside, just like a Tardis. When Angelo gets sick and dies, he regenerates into a new body. Just like a Time Lord. His adventures occasionally included historical figures from the past, just like someone we know. Additionally, Angelo is from the planet Ptarg, which is a term that is used by NASA for 3-vector precise positioning for observation in Space using one-way light time, and from what I understand, that basically how are viewing other entities in space, from the past, because it takes thousands, if not millions of years for that light to travel to where we can see it.
me too. i loved this show, but now i see it again i wonder "how on earth did this keep getting renewed for 10+ seasons. i mean its funny but nothing happens!
This is from a 1998 repeat (because the continuity at the start has the medieval theme adopted in Jan 1998 & used until the switch to in-vision that May)
Yeah, one of my faves back then. There are a couple on my channel if you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y13u5Jr1XeE.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0LLaoLSUU0Y.html

What, the actor, or do you mean you've got a thing for creatures from another world who live in wardrobes? And were those feelings affected when a different actor played the same character? These are vital questions... ;-)
The actor Tim Whitnall. I thought he was a good-looking guy, but the zany personality was what did it. It was Tyler Butterworth played him first, so if it had been the other way round, I probably would have felt pretty sad to see Tim go. I wonder what he's up to these days.
It was mike for me lol.. kinda liked him but didnt understand why as was at that age....now I look back feel a little sickly....blonds really ain't my thing these days haha
We're sort of working on a rotational basis, and it's the turn of T-Bag to be uploaded at the moment - but there'll definitely be some more Mike and Angelos before too long, I hope. :-)
VideotapeFTW cool sorry hope I'm not going on I do think it's funny show also my sister I'm sure used to watch it having no luck on contacting micheal where was it set
Don't worry - I'm always glad to find fellow fans of these classics! There's a great website about the show here: gladyouremember.webs.com/mikeangelo.htm They give it as being set in and around the Cricklewood area. :-)
