He spoke to Mitch Hedberg a week before the late comic passed away. You can see a lot of Mitch's influence in Mike's performance, but he is very much his own comedian.
While I agree with you, I'm glad I ignored your comment and watched this anyway, because this shit is hilarious! It's been awhiles since I've seen his older material.
Classic Mike vs. New Mike are just different styles. I don’t think either one is better than the other, just different. This is traditional stand-up whereas his newer stuff is more storytelling style.
This guy is one of the, worst stand comics in the world.... Tonight was my first time ever seeing this guy on comedy central tonight!!! I didn't find one thing funny about his show... He's just a Adam Sandler nock off!!! He has no talent at all!!! I personally think every one in The audience was just being polite when they applaud him!!! Well that's just what I think anyway!!!!
Look at your comment, now back to mine. Now back at your comment, now back to mine. Sadly it isn't mine, but if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate comments it could look like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through comments, writing the comment your comment could look like. What did you post? Back at mine, it's a reply saying something you want to hear. Look again the reply is now diamonds. Anything is possible when you think before you post, Im sexy
@whoshotjfk The fear of sleeping one? Yeah, he performed that story for The Moth Radio show. He did another NPR special about his first girlfriend, that one is here on youtube somewhere.
I love him so much. I was first introduced to Mike with this show (about 3 years ago) and I had the privilege of seeing him in person about a month ago.
@lamp0114 no, just something about him reminds me of Adam Sandler!!!!!! But Adam Sandler is actually funny... I watch his act now twice just to give him the benefit of doubt. But I still think he suck as a stand up comic
@masterjmich wowwww adam sandler knock off? wow man, I'm not sure what kind of comedy, but adam sandler will never be close to birbiglia in terms of talent
One of Stephen Colbert's staple jokes is the fear of bears. But saying you are afraid of bears in a joke, especially when its only a one-time punchline offhandly delivered hardly counts as stealing a joke.
HAHA i love this guy i own almost all of his stand up dvd's the funniest iv seen is "wiffiel ball tony" where he makes fun of George Bush lol he had me rolling. Nice vid dude thanks for posting it
He was one of my first 'favorite' comedians when I was growing up. I don't find his stuff to be as funny as I used to, but he has some great jokes. I'll always be thankful to him for being one of the first to turn me onto stand up comedy.
