Right where Tom Petty left off. Every bit as good as the Heartbreakers. It’s Mike’s usual genius and talent reminding us all why we’re in the stands and he’s the one named Mike frickin’ Campbell.

TP and the HBs is one in the same since Mike and Tom co-wrote and co- produced pretty much all of it for 45+ years including Mudcrutch. TP solo, and some Traveling Wilburys. So it’s where they both left off although dirty knobs is 15+ years old too so it’s all been around a long time.

Even tho the Dirty knobs Have been around for years Those tears we share are because it’s so clearly Mike Campbell but the feel of the Heartbreakers is so strong on this one it’s puts it in our face Tom and Howie are gone. Let us pray mike can keep this sound going because this is what it’s always been about. 💔

I am so happy for us and especially for Mike to have this band !!! Great to have Mike as a front man after all these years, since Tom is gone. We still get that same flavour of music and with a familiar and similar voice ! Can`t Wait to get the new Vinyl and have a chance to see these guys LIVE !

RIGHT??!! I will always regret skipping Jazz Fest (‘12 I think?) when TP&THB performed. It stormed, and it was a slop show….and I stayed home….and will eternally regret it! Maybe Mike and the Dirty Knobs will come down to Jazz Fest one day…HINT HINT Big love from the Big Easy, NOLA ⚜️

Wow. That gave me a shiver just like I used to get when I'd hear a new Petty song. From the moment I first heard American Girl in high school I knew I was hearing something special. I didn't realize until this century that it was Mike Campbell that was providing that shiver for the decades to follow.

The essence of Petty is all over Mike’s music. I’m blown away! I thank God for Tom and now Mike for the rare breed of music they shared with one another and now continue to give to millions of Petty fans, years after loosing Tom. Mike you bring so much more of you in the songs which used to share with Tom which was a true brotherhood of music f****** great music. I can’t hope but notice that the riff or melody sounds of this tune sounds like the first segment of an Andy Timmon’s riff which coincidentally is also titled Electric Gypsy.
