Excellent interview, Ryan! I very much enjoyed hearing from the guy who is probably most responsible for our baseball renaissance in Baltimore. He, obviously, is a talented guy but also seems like a good guy who I hope we can keep here in Baltimore for a long time ( a la EDC with the Ravens ). It all starts with the product on the field and Mike has created the winner around which everything else can be developed. I have been following the Orioles since about 1957 and I don’t think the entire organization ( from the major league club down through the minors ) has ever been stronger than it is at present. Mike Elias knows what he is doing and I hope Mr. Rubenstein and your Dad will be able to prove to him that Baltimore is his only career option!
We used to be the team that gave away guys like O'Hearn before Elias got here now were the ones getting steals from other teams its been a great feeling
