What I love about faith no more's music and attitude is that it's not a tag, genre or style. It's just fucking faith no more music and them doing their thing and damn is it good.
Very good. My boss is Irish, he's been living here for the last 27 years and still no match! Mike really tries to sound like a real Italian, and to a certain degree, he succeeds.
Funny, two americans speaking italian to each other with the same accent - almost the same... Patton's kniws how to roll his R way better than the interviewer, being a musician he definitely has a better ear for languages. Well done ;)
He's divorced. There's a video of him onstage with Faith No More at a festival speaking to the audience about what they've done in the 12 years during FNM split, before a performance of "Caffeine" and he asks the audience, "Is anyone divorced?" and he puts his hand up.
Damn. I thought Mike couldn't get any cooler than he already is and dang! now he speaks italian! I'm in Italy myself for some 9 months now and I still mumble. As far as I'm concerned, I've come to the point where Mike could as well fart on the mic and I will still get extatic. That's why you'll never be as cool as him.
ok. according to wikipedia he's divorced but is also hinting that they're still together. I read somewhere that she's credited as "Lady T" on several on his later records. The latest I've seen is on "peeping tom" from 2006. well. who knows... :-D

Didn't he live in Italy during his marriage? That aside, it makes sense that a person with genius level music and voice skills would also be able to learn languages really quickly.
He says that it's hard for him to describe mr.bungle's sound, people should buy their records to find out themselves, that they're happy about the new album, that they like playing many covers live, especially movie soundtrack themes, to add some spice to their shows cause after a while their songs become boring to them, that there's a lot to learn cause the more he spends time in music biz the more he realizes he knows nothing about music. his italian is better than my englis...lol
Ok funny answering after 12 years, his accent is quite good actually, better than most English speakers I've heard anyway, but it's not only that, his grammar is also very very correct which is not a usual thing among non Italian speakers (and Italians btw)
