This was years ago and mike said after he was giving him props and jake actually didnt beat him. You said he always tells the truth right? Right after he legit said jake didnt beat him but it was a good match and this was before mike was what he is in bare knuckle today.
Perry was a ufc fighter back then and we know how that goes when they box. Also they do ok in bare knuckle because of the type of boxing it is. Lets be clear its boxing, but if mvp ( Malcom venum paige) the mma fighter did it then I can't count it as the same as boxing. It's not the same, it's like muy tia to kick boxing. Not the same.
Bro the difference between getting punched, especially in the face, and not get knocked out, without a glove, is on a whole different level. Just because you don't class it as the same doesn't mean it's not comparable. Mike Perry could probably get punched in the face by jake paul 10 times and just laugh at him. Reminds me of a time when I was a young aggressive moron and watched my aggressive moron of a friend, smash someone clean on the chin with a big brass belt buckle, and their head just spun back with a sickening smirk on it. Perry has also said that Jake caught him really good in the first or second round and the rest of the rounds went a different way. We see the aftermath, it appears mike is likely the one being honest. With that said this, was a few years ago when Jake first started boxing.
@@dannyburns9850 He was paid to be a sparring partner to prep Jake for an 8 round fight. Jake quit the sparring session after 6 rounds. Logan and Jake are pretty well off financially, Perry isn't - he did what sparring partners are supposed to do. From insiders who were there, Perry essentially dropped his guard and let Jake tee off on him for a couple of rounds and he walked right through everything that Jake threw. Then he danced with him for a few more rounds and Jake got gassed and quit. If he knocked Paul out he would have destroyed his reputation and any chance he had at earning money as a sparring or training partner in the future. If you know Mike Perry you know that he takes huge beatings and still destroys the opponent.
Nothing to see. Bare knuckle Jake would be lucky to escape with full function of his body but that's not what Jake does and he's providing the payday so Perry is fighting Jake's way.
I love Perry, but he leads with his face and gets tagged by everyone he fights. Paul is going to put him down and everyone will say A: "Fixed" and B: "Perry's another washed MMA fighter Paul cherrypicked." The Disney dork is a good fighter but he'll never earn any respect no matter what he does. Too many fight fans are territorial drama queens that even find reasons to hate on champions, so Paul can never expect props from the fight community.
Not surprising to me. 170 bare knuckle vs 185 boxer. Usual suspects, business as usual. Jake Paul isn't bad, he lost a close decision to a real boxer his own weight class.
Perry had 7 years of fighting experience at this point , Jake only 1 year and only had two boxing bouts . Perry isn’t that good a boxer ,this is easy work for Paul at this point . Are people forgetting Jake was actually training for Mike Tyson ? Lol
Perry fought at WW (170) in mma. But likely naturally walks around at 180-190. Jake paul fights at around 200 lbs, but likely walks around between 215-225
Mike did get whooped but in sparring sometimes you get beat up because you didn’t train well before the sparring , since they will be fighting mike can prepare for the fightand win because he knows how to win he has experience
Mike Perry also asked him wha happened the last 4 rounds of tht spar. I think this fight gonna be like fighting a berrker diaz brother for Jake Paul. I think the later rounds is gonna destroy Jake as Perry keeps getting stronger !
Did you just watch this video? This shit is old, and if you actually sparred and trained in a boxing gym you'd know sometimes fighters give more props than they should afterwards, even if it was the case that he got beat up, boxing is a completely different world than mma
Mike's not even breathing heavily and Jake looks gassed. Jake might have out boxed him in sparring, but that doesn't mean he "won" or that he would win in a real fight. Good luck being gassed out in a fight against Mike Perry, while he still has plenty of gas in the tank

I get the whole sparring preview before real fight deal but.... Wasn't Volk 👉"winning"👈 while 👉"sparring"👈 with Du Plessis? That Video when Du Plessis 1st bumped into Izzy sparring at City Kickboxing gym? When it goes into the records on fight night when it counts in my opinion. Ganes allegedly had an 👉"advantage"👈 sparring against Ngannou, we remember how the real fight went. Ngannou even had a damaged ACL & ruptured MCL during Champion fight. Most won't remember the sparring allegations rather the actual outcome of their Title Fight. Sparring is just that just sparring until fight night.
True that but when you travel to someone else's gym to spar amongst total strangers the seriousness ,unless they are top of the food chain ,is usually quite different. If was a pro against a novice then it would be chill. IMO.✌️🥊🥊
