Fight fans are the worst. Go read the comments on masvidals post fight presser after his bmf fight. He was the king of the castle in the eyes of the fans. Couple losses later, he’s bum, a nobody. Two men get into a fight and one has to be named the winner. Nobody stays at the top all the time, there’s always setbacks. Mike is a true warrior and Jake has obviously continued to level up big time.

Theres no need to rig a fight when you can train 6 years straight and pay a non boxer millions of dollars to fight you and give them only 2 to 3 months to train. I'm a huge MMA fan, been seeing it since PRIDE, but I'm also a boxing fan, trainned both dicyplines. But most mma fighters don't understand that their abilities at striking are not a the same level of a profesional boxer. Is just not the same or fair. Boxers specialice in striking, mma fighter have to spend several hours of their day, in jiu jitsu and grappling. Plus the amount of money a boxer earns, makes them have an edge in their trainning camp. MMA fighters, most of them share their trainning camp.

mike fought angry and was chasing for the first 3 rounds, Jake had a great game plan hiding behind his long jab. Jake utilized his height, weight, reach and movement to frustrate Mike and Mike toughness didn't help him. Made him under estimate jakes skills. I wanted Perry to do damage win or lose, sadly he couldn't even get close enough beside a few landed shots here in there.
