I am Delaware born and raised, yet I had never heard of the place before but after seeing this, video I decided to give them a shot the other night. It was well worth every mile and penny ! Fair prices, good service, and even better food. I got breaded mushrooms and a cheese steak. The owner told me he had no clue who JL was when he came to the spot, but he is now subscribed to him and his business has been suddenly exponentially higher ever since JL visited and posted. They have been open for 33 years. He told me that he hoped I enjoy the food, well here I am to confirm that I did and I WILL definitely be back when I crave a cheese steak, although I might go Italian next time. He was so excited about the increase in business. I've been going to way too many chain spots lately so it feels good to support local. Definitely check this spot out ! This is why I wanna do food reviews myself. You never know who you can help.
Ok i know I'm going to sound like I'm fangirling, but another video that was so wholesome. Those subs looked good!!! And I love the background music. Such a vibe
I worked at a cheesesteak shop in cali, owner was from Philly, shouts out Don. Anyways this cheesesteak hoagie looks legit. Owner was very particular on maintaining quality and consistency. That hoagie reminds me of that. Even though it’s Delaware 😊
Mike's is right around the corner from me & I've never stopped there. I'm gonna have to try them out. D & H is right there also & I've tried them b4. Gonna try Mike's now! Thanks for the video! 👍🏼
I thought I misheard him as well. I’d love to believe it, but there’s absolutely no way he’s truly a 3.6 handicap after only playing for 1 year. Maybe from the red tees. He must be confused on how handicaps work lol.
Yes exactly. I don't think he knows how handicaps are graded and even off 9 holes it's highly unlikely unless he's a prodigy which he's not. @@josephrandal4720
Mike's has the best seasoned cook surface one can find, he was smart and has historic cred. I worked down that way and enjoyed many lunches 👍🏻 Your golf buddy gets a solid 👊🏼
i used to live a half a block away.. Mike used to have this huge bag of fries. If im not mistaken he is from the chester area and his main issue back then is he couldn't get the rolls he really wanted. Hands down no shop in delaware could touch Mike's. This was in the 90's though so not sure if Mike is there on the day to day.
@@masteryip303 relax man I typed it without seeing the first one….even if he didn’t do it, it doesn’t hurt to give him ideas for next time he’s in Delaware does it?
Have you been to Roman Pantry off exit 4 on 295 North or South? Carney's Point, NJ. Bruce Willis rated them the best on the planet... I'd like to see what you think.
I’m glad to see this place is still around, I lived up the street years ago. Great sandwiches. Cheesesteaks definitely, fresh turkey as well. You bought the right items for sure.
Both of these subs look delicious 😋 & I'm the same way, I gotta to have that extra mayo on a turkey sandwhich & I would have got red onions on the turkey one & white ones on the cheese steak, love my onions.
I just started playing golf almost 2 months ago. I went from not caring about the sport to an addict real quick. I went almost every day to the driving range with little rest, it got to the point where i strained a muscle near my ribs and now i need to take it easy. This video makes me want to go out to the driving range again lol.
Ahhhhh yesss. Looks absolutely delectable. Never met a cheesteak I didn't like. Not if they look like those. Turkey looks good to me. Lil Miracle Whip. 😋😋😋❤❤❤
I have another Delaware suggestion for you. Check out El Salvadoreno Latin American Restaurant in Newark. I drove by that place for years and tried it for the first time this past winter. I'm hooked! Everything I've tried has been delicious. Their food is so flavorful!
Hi JL, 🏖 🏖🏖 FYI -Please head back to Atlantic City - lots of new development going on the Boardwalk. White House Subs still superb opens at10AM (NO WAIT!!!) Please visit Steels Fudge when you’re there!!! Best Cocomut Fudge on the ‘boards! Keep up the great content/fly music. Thx 🌴🌴🌴
That cheesesteak sandwich looks so good. I also want say JL I’ve been watching your videos since before you had 100k subs. I will say I appreciate how overall your demeanor has remained the same. I also appreciate seeing your family more on the videos too. Have a great weekend😊
You need to try Ioannoni’s Specialty Sandwiches at 624 e. Basin rd in new castle, de. Its near the Wilmington airport and the dmv. Cheesteaks are next level and so are the hoagies and roast pork. All the blue collar workers are there for lunch. Huge hoagies too.
Mayo is most def a must for settin' off a turkey (especially), 🥪 though the cheese steak did appear to be juicier! I wonder what kind of bread they used?
Looks delicious, that will be about a days meal for me those type of sandwiches. If I ever visit Philly again, I will make sure I take advantage of the cheesesteaks in that town.
JL I wish G&P's was still around on market street. I would have told you to go there. I'm in the Carolina area and can't wait to get back home this weekend. First State all day❤
All of it looks good JL! It's making me hungry and watching this video late at night but I got to go to bed! But, I can see how you are enjoying it so it must good and tasty!
