I would love to see Mike do a book of how to deal with tragedy and coping. Every interview I have seen has him smiling and bright-eyed. What he and the band went through with losing Chester was very public and I'm sure was difficult at a personal level. Detailing how to immerse yourself in positive activities and relationships might be able to be an area where he could excel. Even if it were a collection of thoughts or "songs" that helped him across the chasm would reach those experiencing loss and depression.

7:43 I‘m just gonna lean out of the window and assume he’s talking about my appreciation of including muted up/downstrokes pre chorus as a nod to LP because that would be absolutely wild, if it meant something to Mike that it means something to me, and I can’t be the only LP fan that noticed that so ❤! When thinking about what made the music of HT so great to me in the early 2000, it must be the atmosphere and vibe that came across that immediately captivated my 14yo self. It wasn’t just heavy guitars and screaming , it was a consistent vibe throughout entire albums that was on display in different songs. I miss the times when ppl actually listened to albums as an entire piece of art. Streaming really killed a lot of that…but that’s a different topic

from fans of LP of 23 years, thank you! 🤘🏻 it was great to see someone who’s also obviously a huge fan dive deep into the story and the conversation. going back to what Mike said about fans watching many interviews through the years (🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️), there were definitely stories told here that were interesting and fresh. always good to see Mike having a good time and hear him tell those stories, happy that he keeps letting his passion for music drive his life and open new chapters. would be a dream to sit down and just chat with him about music for a while or hopefully even work on something together one day 🤞🏻

Amazing interview. I’ve probably listened to all of his interviews in the recent years and it’s a shame hearing the same basic questions. There’s so much you can ask this legend. opinion and likeness of heavier genres, friendships with other bands from back in the day, best concerts and festivals, best memories. I hope he opens up more about things that were said on MTV IN 2001 and most of us haven’t heard.

Mike is a world treasure! Funny thing is, I have a picture on my wall of him made as if it's from the cover of BQ magazine (I couldn't find it as the actual cover so I'm assuming it's fan made), with that same quote Mike talks about toward the end of the interview - "Dream big, work hard and don't be an asshole." The moment he mentioned a quote he didn't remember saying, I was sure that it was going to be the same one. :D

I watch interview after interview just hoping that I get announcement new Linkin Park. Please move on with the I don't want to hear old music that's been sitting in a closet for a decades I want to hear some new Linkin Park. Don't be like led Zeppelin and never replace. You guys have so much more creativity I know you can come out with some. Chester will always time to move. Find a new singer. This is great singers out there.
