@@capt_bry I think he means bc Mike isn't always chasing the spotlight trying to stay relevant and saying stupid things for drama like someone like Cory Taylor
Oh my god here we are again. Just give him some more time. I thought he is underrated until I understood he's pretty humble himself. He's a music god he's fucking wunderkind he's a living legend my god to me there's no one who can be compared to him. And besides all those regalia he's such a handsome man with the great sense of humor and he's so charismatic and I love him performing and even just talking to people. You have to decide who's he for you. And let the history cook.❤
MTV, you should be glad Mike graced you with his presence after you did a half ass tribute for Chester by cutting off his performance at the VMAs one month after he died.
Mike, thank you for the memories and music that I identified with and defined my 20's and 30's. Would love an opportunity to purchase a plaque or anything memorable for Reanimation, my favorite album of all time. Much love and respect. Thank you so much.
Absolute legend. This band is as important to people of my generation (I'm 32 this year) as my parents' generation with Elvis and Michael Jackson etc, the generation above me with Queen, and Metallica etc. Shame these youngsters missed out on proper music! Let's hope they discover it.
I was in color guard in high school when this album came out. The same year cassette tapes were starting to be removed from record stores. Pre iPhone! Time flys!
I wish Chester was still with us! I'd love to see a 20 year Meteora tour playing the whole album! The one guy who I think could replace him on tour Chino, but he can't do it!
If these guys ever decide to do some fun shows with a stand in for Chester (yea I know you can't truly replace him)... they should grab Nate from Finch, they brought him on stage in the past and he has probably the most similar vocal timbre to Chester you're gonna find and the best scream in the biz.
This album got me into "Nu Metal" I was aware of Korn and Slipknot...but the Linkin Park videos with DJ sounds and CGI visuals...and rapping with singing oh dude I was hooked
The idea of working on new music then going to perform the current music, only to return to making the new music again is the DREAM. P.S. Breaking The Habit, Nobody's Listening, and Session are what made me a LP fan.
Linkin Park will always hold a special place for me. They got me into a heavier style of music (ultimately I’m a metal head 20+ years later). Meteora was a groundbreaking album and still to this day one that I listen to. Really those first 2 records were just ridiculous…
Speaking of last memory I think Mike is refering to 2001 show which is not a Meteora Tour. The situation was in 2001.06.02 Nürnberg, Bayern. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I never knew such story happened like they performed on behalf of Slipknot, despite both being in some sort of same genre, their audience are very different and may not get along very well.
