"It's what the marketplace has told us." The high god speaketh. What's funny is that the marketplace is 32 guys. So, what he's really saying is that the owners don't want EB.
Fields is not just a runner. If the Bears had better receivers, he could be a pocket passer as well. He doesn’t have anyone to whom to pass the ball. Nor, does he have the time to pass the ball because the O-line stinks. He hasn’t been given a fair shot to be evaluated properly. Bears better not trade him!
I’m sure coaches and players like EB, but it’s not crazy to think these old billionaire owners don’t like EB the same way. I don’t know anything about EB as a person, but there’s clearly something beyond race going on here. Maybe the league has just written him off because of Reid and Mahomes are more important to the team’s success. Whatever the case, how EB does in Washington will tell us everything. He’s risking it all to prove himself at a bad franchise and that takes some cahones.
I'm a huge Pats fan, and I can tell Dan hasn't watched much Jets games this season, the Jets are in the AFC champ game at least if they had a top 10-15 Qb on the roster
