@@jonjojr No, no one can defeat aging and ultimate death... Tyson is a 55 year old man. When he fought Roy Jones Jr he certainly was slowed and sluggish and looked nothing like his prime years. He was robbed though. Mike won clearly in that exhibition and he even pulled his punches to not hurt Roy.
Educate the next. Mike had it right. Still does. He's a monster....and men need this. Mike is a scary....funny nice caring guy. And can probably beat bears to death lol.
You know this answer really sums up just how intelligent Mike was in his early days man everything he was doing was deliberate while being known as just "the shorter guy that hits really fuckin hard"
@@MushMunkey Having a talent for knowing how to act in a fight and how to move his body should not be confused with general intelligence. He would seem to possess the former, not necessarily the latter.
Your right. That reporter is Jimmy Greaves an English professional Footballer and one of the greatest goal scorers in the world. After his playing days he became a TV soccer pundit and was brilliant at that too, he was genuine and not about himself.
@@Kfm7He's another athlete so he's going to be interested in what Tyson is displaying and what he has to say. You can tell he's a real educated athlete because he was really observing Mike when he was training.
Jimmy Greaves wasn't 'just' a reporter, he was a world class footballer and a humble man with a fantastic personality and a very good sense of humour 👍
@@chuckppyro3137 they were having fun. It's that kind of smile when a friend who is an absolute unit shows you what he can do and you are just glad you guys are friendly.
You can see and feel the insane speed and power even though he was pulling back his punches. His movements are so menacing you can see the reporter was scared af.
He was intently listening to see how he sell the information to an amerikkkan entity so that they in turn market it in Hollyweird as their own. Don't believe me, ask Bruce Lee. My point exactly. But he lives on, therefore ask Kung Fu producers and David Carradine.
@@amartyapandit Not sure if you already btw this or care, but his name is Jimmy Greaves and he was a famous football commentator in the 80s and early 90s, here in the UK.
If you ever see any clips of him training at 17 years old with Cus D'Amato you'd be astounded. I think they even had to make him an his special series of punching bags because he would break them.
What I love about Tyson is that even when he was at his most youthful, ferocious and destructive he always spoke with the utmost respect, providing you gave it back equally.
Exactly what I was going to say. I met him with my older brother and my dad after he had just won his first belt. Couldn't believe how nice he was to us. And we pretty much ambushed him in the hotel hallway haha waiting outside his room (Don King said it was ok lol). Took pictures with us and gave me a hug.
@@cloviswater4870 actually that guys 100% correct, anytime you see clips of Tyson saying wild ‘gangsta’ shit….it always started with someone disrespecting him…and thinking they should be able to talk down to him just because he’s a celebrity.
I remember watching Mike's training videos as a teenager and i was fcking surprised how the fck he's moving so fast with all that weight. People don't actually realise that a man with built like that and moves with that speed can fck someone up so bad so fast it's insane.
That's not unusual, many are even faster than that, but the fact Mike can keep that speed with his size for 10+ rounds casually is IMPRESSIVE! Especially because he is usually the consistent attacker.
I once saw an interview with Mike telling someone about a pet tiger he once had. he said, " Don't be getting no pet tiger. They can turn on you at any moment and they're very dangerous". If Iron Mike is afraid of a tiger, I don't want no tiger.
It’s all perspectives, you enter blind zones and with Tyson’s speed it’s almost as if he teleported. Wild how fast and precise he is, almost like he’s solely based on instincts to fight.
He was Jimmy Greaves a legendary football ⚽️ player - obviously an older gentleman at the time of the interview. He was definitely in awe of the speed, power and the mechanics. Afterwards he said about Tyson, “he’s unarmed but it feels like he’s holding you at gun point.”
@@zachjones1716 He was he was always coming up with funny little puns. Much like Reg Gutteridge the boxing commentator who was a bit older than Jimmy, he also would say things like "Much better than his last opponent he couldn't stand up in a ten mile an hour wind" they both have that funny way of putting things both English legends who everyone who meets them likes them. Jimmy had his own tv show over in the UK called Saint and Greavsie. That was Jimmy Greaves nickname, Greavsie a really top bloke or swell guy as you put it. One of those rare people who don't have anything about them that you don't like, a sharp guy like you would like him and your opinion on him was spot on. Jimmy was a striker in the English football league during the 60s he would score over 30 goals a season sometimes more, he missed the world cup in 66 when England won it, which shocked a lot of people.
Yes, people often underestimate how good professionals actually are. Their experience of doing sports is very limited. Im pretty good at basketball, but wheneve I see a recording of one of the games in the neighbourhood, it's like WNBA... basketball in slow motion. You need to be a professional fighter just to survive a fight with Mike.
I don’t think many people will know who the interviewer is. He was one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of world football. The incredible Jimmy Greaves.
I like how childlike he is having fun showing this guy how to move. He is honestly being really nice and telling him how to move without acting rude at all. There has always been two Tysons. Mike...and the beast.
@@cactu5jack My dad was born in the 1910s, watched all the great ones fight in their prime and past. Marciano, Frazier, Foreman, Robinson, Ali... whenever Mike was going to fight, he sat down inches away from the TV, all the time saying "I've never seen anyone like him." ❤
@@cactu5jackhave you seen the Jesse Ferguson fight? The last round of that fight was incredible to see. The whole fight is an awesome display of Tysons destructiveness, but the last round before Ferguson retires, the 5th I think? Incredible!💥🥊
But he wasn't. He literally had said at that point he's scum that came from scum and he'll out, "Bad guy" Sonny Liston. So that in conjunction with how he was treating people, (even those he had just met like, 2 seconds prior) the interviews, (the person conducting some of those interviews definitely deserved what they got/the premise or talking points at times absolutely elicited such a response, but not all.) The shit he was getting himself into, etc. Would prove he was a countering entity to that of a good person... >>>>>Granted he also had lived through/with heavy shit. The kind of shit that the majority of people wouldn't see even in their nightmares.
He still does it. I saw a vid recently where he was showing off this same D'amato Shift and no way that interviewer could pull that off. Yeah he's half his age, but he's also twice as round.
This interviewer is the highest scorer in Englands top tier. Harry Kane needs to overtake his 357 goals not Shearer's 260. He doesn't have a chance. Haaland might.
@@gunman462 well I’m not exactly referencing his weight class, just as an individual he is huge. He’s not super tall but good lord I don’t think anyone on this planet could take 1 unguarded punch from Tyson and stay standing 😂
I feel like he was listening all the way up to the point that he pulled his arms forward and he lost his banner slightly and then he realized that how strong Mike Tyson is compared to him and you also got to realize this is probably the most intimiding man to ever exist at this time he was probably scared
Not just one of Englands greatest ever goalscorers....but the world. Scored over 400 club goals in an era where games weren't as abundant as they are noe in european competions. The bloke was a machine!
Unfortunately everyone here wants him to be afraid so even if he wasn't everyone will just chime in like the idiot above me until you are convinced he was afraid.
He is in awe like we are of a fuckin tiger He is centimeters from feelin one of those rib deatroyin blows. And he knows it. He feela it. He isnt scared shitless. But he is amazed and shaken
@@MrGetmoneymane he wasn’t afraid, Before Mike went down hill he was actually incredibly well spoken and respectful to everybody around him because that’s what Cus taught him. Only when he wasn’t around no more Mike started to change
The guy who is interviewing him is called Jimmy Greaves and in his day was a top flight footballer who played for England and Tottenham in the UK. Not just a reporter but ur right u could see he was uneasy in front of iron Mike. Who wouldn't be!!
@@angelsweet9611 Yeah really. Tyson's width and unimaginable core strength combined with his inhuman speed gave him off-the-charts punching power. If only Don King had never entered the picture 😱
omg 2 legends, he's not a reporter.....he's the legend Jimmy Greaves, one of the greatest english footballers of all time. i never knew this interview existed.....class
Fucking hell, Mike is such a scary man. You hear his voice and he's very calm and collected, just explaining his strategies. But you see him move and holy shit.

Great comment - it immediately made me start thinking about other people who may have been in that realm. You should check out a guy who you may have never heard of if you aren't from Canada named Terry Fox. Died of cancer at I think 20 years old....but before doing so, ran halfway across Canada to raise money for cancer research at a pace of roughly 1 marathon per day, already having cancer and having a prosthetic leg due to having to amputate because of the cancer.
what a moronic comment. he was as good as he was cause he had a genetic gift he did not earn the same as michal jordan. THEY ALL WORKED THEIR ASSES OFF. yet none of the others were as good as either. work alone does not make you a mike tyson or a michal jordan. if it did there would be 1000 of both,
He def got scared. But that whole combo was ALL side. Whole point Tyson is trying to teach here. The mind game behind the sport. You THINK he’s going to punch you in the face, you counter and react accordingly. But it’s a fake body movement to put him in the position for the real punches.
"Wit" that was instilled in him by the legendary Cus' damatto 💯......I personally try to pass down the Great respect to those Great trainers Behind the Rise to Greatness of the Legends....Trainers like Angelo Dundee, Ray Arcell, Cus'damatto, & Eddie Futch.
You could really tell Tyson respected him for paying attention enough to make such an intelligent observation; he doesn't say he's wrong; he simply says, "You misinterpreted." It was a game recognizes game moment.
@@rpgman6464 if it's any consolation someone said "This man in his prime was the closest to a saiyan we could get in real life." and I answered "yeah but he was still a great reporter in his older days"
That first hit when he transition from front to reporters right, was so strong that Mike's ultra instinct and reporters fears with mine mixed together 😂
