True, but with pro-boxing rising & falling in viewer interest constantly due to competition and no one knowing who great household-name boxers are anymore, the sport allows these fights as "viewer interest" fights. With exception of Canelo Alvarez, Tank Davis, Ryan Garcia, Naoya Inoue, Vasiliy Lomachenko, GGG, and some others (not counting the heavyweight division because it's tapping out at the moment with meh fights), the average pay-per-viewer doesn't know half those aforementioned names on pro-boxing, and that's a problem for pro-boxing business longevity.

It's more about issues like the brain not taking a punch good at 50 and more importantly reflexes. Sugar Ray Leonard said in your thirties you see punches like you did when you were younger, the problem is your body doesn't react the same way in avoiding the punches. Mike hasn't moved his head since he fired Kevin Rooney. Jake's youth will have him landing punches at will and Mike being close to 60 means those punches hurt just like they hurt a civilian. If Jake is able to deal with Mike's power within the first two rounds, I see him stopping Mike via TKO where the ref steps in.
