What confused me was Jake Paul was hugging Tommy for a few rounds, stopping tommys momentum, but when Tommy does it he gets deducted a point

Watching this fight back I never realised how convincingly Tommy was winning.

How did anyone have this as even close it was 6 rounds to 2 for Tommy who had double the output of Jake, Tommy outboxed and had higher volume than Jake every single round and without the slip knockdown it was 7 rounds to 1.

Fair play to the editor for making this appear a fairly even fight. Go back and watch the full fight, Jake swung wild rights all night whilst Tommy jabs his face off. 6-2 at the best for Jake and its hilarious that Tommy got a point deducted for holding when it's all Jake does from round 5

Tommy fury was very good considering the pressure he was under, there was many openings for him to KO Jake Paul but he was too tense unfortunately. Nevertheless, Tommy fury has a really educated jab. He showed skills and Jake Paul showed he had that HGH chin to take a shot.

I honestly have no idea how the result was so close? Tommy was steam-rolling him allllll fight.

I think this proves jake has power when facing a 40 to 50 year old, but when fighting someone who doesn't have a bus pass and is an actual boxer his punches are not particularly Powerful. Tommy himselfnsaid Jakes punches were not any worry and that's why he became less defensively responsible because he knew he could take the shots.

I scored it 6-2 to Tommy on the night and watching it back the only debate is whether it was actually 7-1. Without the slip/knockdown it was essentially a shutout.

John Fury was right, they put on a better show than a fair few title fights I've seen. I've been sceptical of this fight since it was announced but they both went out there and gave it their all, nothing but respect.

It surprises me that Fury is this happy with the win. Should’ve been a walk in the park for him and undeniably a unanimous decision in his favor offcourse! Would’ve liked to see Jake being knocked out by the way😴

Jake put in a more respectable performance than jj that’s for sure. He landed a variety of punches (jj literally only landed a 1-2 and missed most shots he threw) he countered Tommy well in moments, and he was never knocked down using a kind of effective defense (JJ just ducked and clinched because he literally doesn’t know how to defend punches)

Tommy is a career boxer, Jake is a youtuber and recently a career boxer. Tommy winning was actually expected, I find it very hard to understand how the bookies had him as an under dog. Jake earned my respect though, he went toe to toe with a career boxer and held his own, got hammered, but held his own. A bit more conditioning and training he could be a good boxer, I have no doubt he will be one day, he seems determined enough. Respect to both fighters, it takes a certain amount of courage to go out on front of millions of people and fight.
