After watching him get up over and over in the 3rd Fury fight, I think he can absorb some powerful shots. Fury didn't have the devastating bodywork Mike does, and Wilder has no jab to stop him.

Much better boxers and coordinated boxers struggled to even hit Tyson clean and Wilder who is has very little boxing skills can't beat Tyson. Bonecrusher Smith in a recent interview said that he struggled with Tyson because he was so short, quick and so hard to hit.

@@louissmith5298 Ali v Tyson is always tough debate! My feeling is, if Ali could survive the first 5 or 6 rounds, he could win on points or a late knock out? But I'm not sure even Ali beats an early twenties Tyson. Although I would say that Ali had the overall better career.

Tyson when he was fighting. twice a month sure was something and could have caught Ali but Ali had a great chin and could have survived a knock down. I just think Ali had the hand and foot speed to be able to win on the outside when he was young in his prime, but would not be confident. Prime Mike is the only fighter Ive seen who would have had a chance against prime Ali.

Tyson knocked out many boxers in his prime and past his best who were similar height and build to Wilder. Wilder although he has an exocet missile in his right hand, Tyson's head movement and height would be far too much for Wilder. Tyson was far too quick as well. He probably be the quickest that Wilder would ever have fought.

@@tbolin25 Berbick was WBC world champion. Spinks was undereated and ended Holmes streak and was considered an all time great til Tyson dismantled him. Holmes was old but one of the greats. Tyson looked less impressive when bigger fighters started clinging to him like limpetts but those guys weren't there to fight, just to survive and lose a lopsided points decision. Tyson was a shadow of himslef when he fought Buster and a juiced to the eyeballs Evan Fields. Pre Berbick Tyson would have knocked both out inside 2 rounds.

He was just a different level of heavyweight. Tyson was unraveling before Buster got fit for a fight for the only time in his life. Tyson 86/87 would destroy Wilder. Wilder has the worst possible style to match up with prime Mike. Lennox Lewis, Holyfield and even Tua would all make short work of Joshua and Wilder. Fury is the only current heavyweight that could be at the top of any era. This bs about the heavyweight division being stacked with talent islaughable compared to the 90s/00s. Tyson simply wasn't fighting at his 100% full capacity in the Buster Douglas fight... Don King and his legion of leeches, had NEGATIVELY affected Tyson's performance in the coming weeks/months leading up to his 1st loss to Buster Douglas in Tokyo. Not to mention all that drugs, alcohol, coke, hookers, ect. If only Tyson had kept Kevin Rooney and Cayton's crew, he would've ran right over Douglas like an express train. The way that Holyfield easily DESTROYED Buster Douglas later that same year; not only proved that he was just another BUM, but also pointed out the fact that he wasn't fighting at 100% full capacity either. He was simply just there only for a 25 million dollar payday, and that was about it!

If Wilder knew how to box maybe he could go 3 or 4 rounds.
