Easy win for Fury. wilder couldn't do it in 3 fight's at 6.7 Mike at 5.10 not going to happen. Wilder got 2 sledgehammer in either hand . After 5 or 6 rounds Mike Tyson would frustrated and gone after that Ko for Fury round 7 or 8. . Like man says be realistic💯
Fury himself had said that prime Mike Tyson would KO him completely within 2-3 rounds. I think Fury is generally honest in his assessment. However, after beating a game Wilder in their third fight, Fury was saying that he could beat anyone!
That's what he suppose to say any gladiator gone say I'm the badest comes with the belts u ain't fighting for nothing but prime vs prime it ain't looking good for champion fury in all due respect 💯
If Cus in in Mike's corner- Iron Mike takes it with an early KO. Without Cus- Tyson Fury by decision. While he was deadly in his prime, without Cus, I think his personal issues and crazy lifestyle would interfere with his performance.
i would say tyson pre holmes fight with kevin rooney as he wasn’t yet becoming complacent and effortless knockouts with less training didn’t help. and he knew his anger could take over and do it for him after that for example the spinks fight. but a prime pre holmes tyson would easily score a stoppage in i’d say round 5
Moron, Cus was in Mikes corner all the way until his 11th pro fight and in his corner when he lost and didn't go to the Olympics. Cus made ZERO difference.
In his prime I'd have to say Mike Tyson for the win, he's just a better fighter all round. Tyson in his prime, in peak health both physically and mentally, there's just no one ever who could have beaten him.
There are many fighters who could have beaten him, they just weren't around at that time, He was the best in the world from 86 to 89.. no question.. but that wasn't exactly a shark tank of talent, I mean James Smith a guy with 19 wins and 8 losses was heavyweight champion at the time, And Mike couldn't even KO him.. In fact the only person visibly hurt in the Tyson/Smith fight was tyson himself in the 12th round. He was an excellent young talent but never unbeatable. Don't think He ever would've handled Holyfeild, Lewis, Ali etc..
@@mradamsmith9365 what he’s saying is,No one could beat Prime Iron Mike tyson ! And thats facts.Dude was a Tank.Iron Mike would Put Fury away Early on No question if ands or buts
@@elmo_eman2867 He already lost in his prime to James Douglas who was average at best, He also nearly lost in his prime to James Tillis who was below average, Tyson only beat him by 2 points. incredibly overrated fighter.
Overrated is Tyson Fury. His biggest fights was with Wilder other than that He hasnt fought no one.And even then Wilder Knocked his ass down🤣 Fucking Wilder bruh
Chris Boyd spot on Fury too big add on he now has power he gives any heavy weight a huge problem. I feel after his recent fights everyones opinion is different
A 20 year old mike tyson would break him down. Wont make it past 2 rounds and thats being generous. Young mike was putting people to sleep, hes not wilder.
You obviously don’t know your boxing. I’ve seen Mike Tyson stay down from lesser punchers than the punches that Fury got up from and dealt out. I honestly believe that Fury would’ve been too big for him.
@@niteblaster1 I’d argue n say it’s been revived because of the Wilder vs Fury Trilogy and I reckon Fury’s size, reach and clinch work will beat almost any boxer in history
@@BruceLee-go2vy almost any boxer in history,Lennox Lewis is the only one who i can think of atm that could take him on and beat him,he just to big for all the other guys height and weight wise
I wonder if Mike would have an issue performing his signature upper cut on Fury with him being 6’ 9”, just the thought sounds like Mike’s arm would have to be fully extended with Fury a foot taller than him.
Lmao fury would smoke mike. Anyone who can't see that is just a fanboy. Fury only said mike would beat him out of respect. Reality is, mike would barely touch him. The height, reach, distance management and agility would be way too much. Fury toys with him and KOs him whenever he wants.
i honestly believe mike could have been the greatest heavyweight of all time but after cus died he took some of mike with him and he never got over that
Chris Byrd lol what a joke. Tyson's fighting style in his prime was meant to dominate bigger guys. Get low, head movements, combos and counter when they miss. Mike Tyson was a complete fighter.
tyson furys 6.9 mike tyson 5.10 would that 11 inches save fury?? tyson was shorter than Everyone he fought! In fact the Cus D’Amatto peek a boo system was created by him for short heavyweights with reach problems.
The Iron One can KO anyone except: McBride, Danny Williams, an old Holyfield, an old Lewis, Douglas, Tucker, Tillis, Bonesmoker Smith, Mitch Green. Yup, anyone. But, Fury's done 3 things Tyson NEVER did 1. Avenge a draw/defeat 2. Engage in war and still be standing when the final bell rang 3. Got up from a knockdown and was still standing at the final bell. What do all of Tyson's fantasy dreamers have in common?? Their lips are securely locked around Tysons hole.
@@TheRealPrinceG Another amazingly well thought through response. Title defenses are but one rather minor barometer of greatness especially when those defenses include getting bombed out by world beaters such as Buster Douglas. The real "crime" here is yet another Moron who is incapable of defending Tyson's greatness.
Mike Tyson runs across the ring right up to fury gets right on his chest and goes to work he would be to fast to powerful and to unpredictable Tyson fury would be thinking which shot from which direction is coming next along with the thought of god everytime he hits me it's breaking me up the peakaboo style along with all the other attributes that Mike Tyson carried would simply be too much for fury to cope with we aren't talking about a 40 year old wlad or a one trick pony like wilder here were talking about a prime iron Mike Tyson from a whole different era and lot harder era at that
I can't understand why this guys who picked Tyson Fury specially Byrd to thinks that Fury would catch iron mike with his jab ?? Have u ever seen him fight before ?!
Oh! OK genius, here, please respond (you won't) The Iron One can KO anyone except: McBride, Danny Williams, an old Holyfield, an old Lewis, Douglas, Tucker, Tillis, Bonesmoker Smith, Mitch Green. Mike Tyson. Would chop him down like a chump. He wouldn't have to knock him out. To the head he would put him down with body shots. Has enyone even looked at the combinations. That Mike Tyson throws to the body. Just look at the stuff on the net. And it's all fighter's. Taller and bigger than Mike Tyson. It would be easy money for Mike Tyson. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And fury is just gonna stand there with his hands in the air and let mike him in the body, Mike is gonna be getting tagged with jabs as he's coming in, he's gonna be getting clinched and have 275lbs of body weight leaning on top of him wearing him down, He's gonna be getting tagged with powerful uppercuts, he's gonna be missing furys head.. it's a hard fight for both guys. i favour fury
mike tyson hands down.....forget the propaganda of tyson fury. mike fought so many larger opponents...and destroyed them with precision! he had the stamina and focus! mike didnt have a big mouth like tyson fury. he kept quiet and just ended every fight..... your fuckin high if you think fury would beat mike...
Propergander??? Now there's the diarrhea calling the loaf shitty! NO ONE, NO ONE shits out more propaganda than Tyson's taint lickers. Tyson has been hit by fighters who hit harder than Fury and prime Mike would have KO'd Wilder easily, even easier than Fury did.... but Mike vs Fury would be a tougher fight for both of them. Wilder landed a few clean punches that knocked down Fury but missed a lot when he was swinging wildly and he has zero defence. On the other hand Tyson would have landed more cleaner punches in combinations and from different angles. Even if he doesn't hit as hard as Wilder he would have knocked out all of Wilders former opponents even quicker than Wilder did because he's also faster. If Mike knocked Fury down once he'd be all over him after Fury beats the 8 count. Also if you haven't noticed Fury does a lot better against taller opponents bear in mind that the majority of people thought Cunningham was winning before the last 2 rounds. I need to watch that fight again.
I think Mike Tyson now would give Fury a run. Have you all seen his speed and power. Plus he works the body where as Wilder just goes for that one big shot Mike Tyson would be crushing that body.
When has he ever had a glass jaw? He's never been knocked out. He's never lost. He fought Wilder twice, and Wilder hasn't been able to knock him out. Almost every other opponent that Wilder fought went down with 1 punch. Fury has a great chin.
@@machinefannatic99 first one was a knockdown. The second one was a very short knockout. It was one of the best I had ever seen. But after 2 seconds, Fury regained consciousness and got up. Wilder is one of the most devastating power punchers of all time. In fact, I would rank him number 3, only behind Foreman and Shavers.
@@benmacdonald5445 fury aint gonna go 12 rounds with a 20 year old tyson thats for sure not even wilder or joshua they cant handle the heat, tyson doesnt wait to find a knockout punch he gives you the heat relentless heat and fury cant avoid that
I think Fury would be too big and elusive for Tyson. The old days was to get in and brawl in which case Tyson may stand a chance but fury would wear him down.
One day Lennox Lewis should really release the tapes of him and Tyson sparring as teenagers with Cus in Mikes corner. Isn't it interesting that Lennox has hours of video and audio footage of him sparring against Tyson in his teens but he won't even give us a snippet of these sparring sessions, and we all know why.... My point is Mike in his prime fought better against taller opponents, and I still think he would have beaten Lennox if he was in his prime. Yes I'm aware that Fury is more elusive than Lennox but he seems to struggle with shorter opponents that he's fought in the past. Don't get me wrong both Fury and Mike are top 10 heavies of all time but it could go either way. Both Tyson's and have really interesting fighting styles that we haven't seen replicated by other fighters in history who were there size. Just imagine Chisora with more power handspeed footwork, and a far better defence. Mike may not have hit harder than Wilder and to be honest I don't think anyone in the history of boxing did but he's one of the few who comes close and if Tyson manages to knock him down like Cunningham and Wilder did Tyson would not let him off the hook. Fury would get swarmed, it's actually a decent hypothetical and I can see both winning in certain scenarios. If neither is 100% mentally prepared against the other that's another way I can see either one losing. Fury has proven that he's the current best but I just wish that he didn't go through the mental health problems he had after beating Wlad because had he fought Vitali after that and became the only person to beat him they wouldn't be any doubt that he's a top 5-3 heavyweight of all time. Also fighting a prime David Haye would have been interesting and a fantastic win on his resume.
@@Philotheist777 and Steve Cunningham due to Cunningham's speed. If we eventually get Ruiz vs Fury this will give a slight indication to how well Tyson could have done against Fury. Mike vs Wilder would also be interesting...
@@Philotheist777 I'm looking at this from a handspeed and stature standpoint. Yes I'm aware that Ruiz is taller but still closer in size to Tyson than he is to Fury.
There in America what do you expect to hear, if you followed Tyson Fury's career you will notice the worst thing to do is to knock him down he will get back up and always win.
@@awashbarbecue9109 How is it everyone is a bum fighter unless it's the boxer you like. I watched the great Ali but he fought a lot of so called bums as all the greats have and by the way any man who gets in the ring to a fight a great is a very brave and no bum, respect to them all.
Mike is my favorite fighter ever but Fury has a chance. He has the mentality to fight beat someone like Mike. Fury could grab him and jab him and make it complicated for Mike. Fury can move well too.
@@shafo4384 we talkin about prime Tyson 85-88,not and old Mike Tyson. I doubt fury will beat Tucker, thomas, holmes, ruddock let alone Mike Tyson, please don't compare boxers from old era they are incredibly tough no one has beer belly
@@josht9783 None of those guys could even touch Fury, let's be real the game evolved and with his physical gifts plus the awkwardness and freakish speed for his size, none of those guys have a chance realistically.
I don't think it so simple . Mike had problems with Tony Tucker, Smith , Tillis and Buster Douglas in his prime. Fury is taller, faster and smarter than these guys .
Mike had problems? He gave them all a good beating, go watch the videos again. Mike Tyson at his technical best was literally unbeatable no matter how tall the opponent was.
It would play out like fury vs Cunningham. Mike's explosiveness would have him winning early, but fury's grit size and clinch work would win the fight.
This was two years ago, I think if they asked these fighters today after he's proven against Wilder, and has shown not only his skill but the power and aggression he has too, a lot of these fighters would probably have a different opinion. Fury is too big, too smart and too awkward for Mike to land big blows, Fury has taken Wilders biggest and got back up, so I don't really see what Tyson can do, I'm a huge fan of Mike Tyson, but this is a bad match up for him.
Bro mike Tysons strength was his height and size, he would get in close and destroy huge heavyweights, mike Tyson is much quicker to, I’m sorry but prime mike Tyson before cus died, I’d give it to iron mike ko, mike was 53 when he offered a fight to fury after he had beaten wilder and he declined
@@cxntzz1729 you think Tyson Fury is scared of a 53 year old Mike Tyson? It's a no win situation. You get hated for winning. Plus he has too much respect to beat a man 30 years past his prime
