The sound of those body shots, dear god it must have been like being kicked by a horse. I don't think most people understand how painful a body shot can be when delivered by a trained fighter, but when delivered by Tyson...ouch.
@@Daniel_Antonio_Arellano782 It really shocked me when I heard those hits. I'm not a professional fighter but I've spent years training in various martial arts, I spent a summer working the doors in the UK, I have had to fight people in some very unpleasant circumstances and I have witnessed a great many street fights. With all of this experience I can honestly say I have never heard the sound that Tyson produced when striking a guys chest/stomach while wearing gloves. The only comparable sound I can think of is when I used to practice my turning kicks against a pad. Honestly that's the same sort of sound and that involves a partner willing to take the hit with a thick pad as I turn my entire body and channel the force into a kick. How the hell Tyson can generate the same force from a punch is frightening.
I used to fight in hockey, quite a bit… you dont experience that feeling. I sparred with a pro boxer to get my skills up and was dropped by a body shot immediately, you could break my nose and I wouldn’t flinch, a hard shot to the body breaks you, especially if you haven’t experienced it lol
@Dominique Rodrigues I hope you can live long enough to where you can be healed of your bitterness. The man did his time and some would say for nothing. Better yourself. Mike certainly has.✌🏾🚶🏾♂️
That was definitely part of it, but I think the main thing that killed him was getting rid of Cayton and Rooney. He was never really quite the same after that. Bruno wobbled him a bunch of times in their first fight and Douglas beat him shortly afterwards!!
Back in his prime I don’t think Tyson found to much funny. He would eat, sleep, & drink nothing but boxing & had a lot of anger in his younger days. His head is in a completely different place now & good for him. I’m glad he’s figured out his place & calling now outside & past the ring.
Watch some of Mike's fights when Cus was still alive and he was just an up and comer in the HW division. He does some unbelievable ducking and weaving in the ring that was truly never done before to my knowledge by anyone. He got so low against one dude that he was literally crouched down damn near in a fetal position before jumping back up with an uppercut that almost took the dude's head off. He was extremely elusive with his unique style in the ring.
No. All he did was cuddle and push and try lean his weight on him. He ate about 5 good shots respectfully. Mans a clown compared to Tyson, he didn't know how to use his range atall and let Tyson just stand inside his guard delivering body shots and uppercuts...if you think he did somthing he should be proud of your mad lol
He deserves credit for nothing, he talked all that trash and got manhandled like girl, he just clinched and the punches he did throw missed, he was completely ineffective in the ring, the goal is to win, not survive
He got this one twice once in the ring and once in the street. This guy was the best at this style. Do you really think he was actually there at that time of might in that area just to buy a jacket? 😅 Legend.
@@scottsummers4115 i think you misunderstand i am not talking about who is the greatest, thats another "debatable" argument. I meant that none of the past and present champs have had the same lasting impact that tyson has achieved, he is widely recognized as the badest mother f the ring has ever seen. Out of the 2 you mentioned only Ali comes close in regards of the recognition. Tyson the youngest heavyweight in history with a devastating number of 1st round knockouts, crazy speed behind his ridiculously powerful punches etc. He is recognized throughout the world, theres even a video game tysons punchout. This is what i meant by recognition
1. Mitch fought scared, but he didn't get knocked out. 2. Tyson's comedy special was really good. 3. Tyson gained a LOT of weight, but he's in PHENOMENAL shape now. He put in the work.
Mike was relentless. Saw this back in the day. Mitch was no match then for Mike. Watched this bout again and again, and it is clear Mike took the fight to Mitch who evidently under estimated Mike. When the bout was over, Mike was still as hungry as when the first round kicked off. A knockout was all he wanted, to teach Mitch a lesson... He used Mitch as a punching bag that night. Just count the body punches to the ribs! Incredible bout.
The way Mike was ducking , swaying and moving forward to lend accurate punches to Mitch man it was out of this world. I would like to think of is as like fighting a demon. All props to Mike Tyson the greatest boxer i've ever seen in my life.
Not to mean anything bad, but I wish Mike Tyson had knocked out Mitch Green in this fight. Mitch Green is quite a slick slugger and difficult to catch cleanly with Tyson's power punches. If Green didn't keep holding Tyson throughout the fight, he would've been knocked out in five rounds for sure.
@@paulstill2181 No, he was psychologically trained (including hypnotism) to "know" he was invincible. In his own words he "felt like a god in the ring"
@@minik1510 I looked it up, supposedly green and Tyson had a street fight and after the street fight green was screaming Tyson's name in public and got arrested for it. That's as far as I looked into it, just type in "why did Mitch green get arrested after the fight with Mike Tyson" it'll tell you more.
Well, that days,i watching most of mike tyson fight on tv,and yes,we don't even blink when watched it,because mostly he finish it in first round. hahaha
Everyone knows him for his power and his knockouts but as a heavyweight he had some of the best defense I’ve ever seen in that division. You just don’t see heavyweights with that kind of movement.
Imagine Mike hitting you with one of those deadly hooks or uppercut, he's breaking bones. I remember hearing that one of Mike's punches is the equivalent of putting a phone book up to you face and letting Mark Mcguire hit it with a bat, if that's true thats insane.
Wow I didn’t know Mike Tyson is still fighting 😮 I thought he was retired I see the videos was uploaded 2 yrs ago ❤ Glad to know Mike has came back for his people
Watch after the 19:00 minute mark, where Mike's bobbing and weaving is highlighted, as he moves in on Green, smiling as he does. It's actually frightening! Hahaha! Amazing Mike! Man, I wish he stayed with Kevin Rooney.
Mike Tyson went into Ultra Instinct mode during this fight. I loved how he dodged those punches and especially when the camera man took that photo of him knocking the mouth guard out of his mouth.
J ai remarqué aussi il y avait quelque chose de magique chez Mike Tison comme l instinct d un félin dans sa personne , ou comme vous dites « mode instinct » on retient son souffle ! Quelle belle et inoubliable démonstration du talent de Mike .
FROM A CHAMPION TO A GENTLEMAN. MIKE = LIVING. TYSON = LEGEND. BEST OF THE BEST OF ALL TIMES. YES HE'S THE ... GOAT. LOVE YOU AND I ADMIRE YOU MY LIVING LEGEND
Probably closer to "5 9.5 no shoes. Definitely Not "5 11 no shoes. Didn't matter to him anyway. His fists were wrecking balls. Definitely one of greatest and has his place set in the history books.. Iron Mike is a living legend and was a gift for the world to see. What a teenage boy can do and become. Sad he lost his way so early in his career and life. Between his poor choice of wife And that snake King, allegations that ended in jail time, Mike was of his perfect game permanently. He still was a force to be reckoned with but had this troubled life not occured and he had the wholesome life of a fellow legend like Rocky Macianno another short heavy weight champ, then Iron Mike could of very well proven he was the undesputed greatest of all time. Such as life God bless you Iron Mike and thanks for the shows. The world used to stop for heavy weight bouts and you were the last electrifying fighter to have that power. You can still feel it watching you fight in a vid like this one. Who's the heavy champ of today ??? Who cares he is just some chump next you. His name's not even worth a mention. Apparently he compared himself to Mike Tyson or something ?? What a looser this man is. You were the last of a era . You took boxing with you and It's boring now. All the good stuff is here on the you tube time machine.
10:05 Masterful replay of Tyson slipping 3 punches. Green mostly used his reach advantage to reach and hold. His ribs paid the price for that moronic strategy. It’s boxing. Not wrestling.
This was the first Tyson fight that I saw back in the eighties. I said to the girl I was with "there goes the future heavyweight champion " it was that obvious he was special. You could see a mile off that he was brilliant!!!!
@@timothy4011 ??..hes a cool guy but he has this REAL scary psycho side..its kinda very real..I pissed him off one day and he headed inside to get his hammer or baseball bat..I didnt know which but a huge lag in jail must have occurred to him so he just came back and smashed litres(innacurate) of blood out of my face..he never managed to knock me out but he fing hammered my head a good twenty times..I didnt even hit him back and was gratefull for just the fists..some ppl you dont fuck with...some ppl the cops dont fuck with..
you know "they" didn't want Mike to be one of the best, why do you think he magically went to prison in his prime years geez what a coincidence, why do you think Cus passed shortly after Tyson became a pro again what a coincidence, why do you think he was forced to leave Rooney someone who trained under Cus, again what a coincidence he was forced to leave behind the good people in his life and be paired with snakes like Don King. "They" did not Mike to be the best.
Wow. You just got a new subscriber, and I didn’t even finish watching this video yet lol. What’s the song/beat that starts at 1:33? Sounds like something that could be on a fight night game.
Tyson was a monster back in those days. He simply doesnt care how big his opponents are and how hard they are gonna hit him, he's only focus is to where he is going to hit them whether in the head or the body and he want to make sure they feel his power !!!
Love when the half of the video shows Mike having a hard time cuz' Mitch holding... and thenn... the power of the kiss ! Mike comes out and dominates completely with crazy bodyhead movement, toyin' and humiliatin' Bitch Green 👊🏽🤣
Reszta do jednej bramki.
I often forget that Mike Tyson isn’t that old. He’s only 55 today. It think it’s cuz he looked quite a bit older than he really was when he was in his prime. Only 19 here, a little kid but looks like a grown man.
