I saw a younger man not giving up on an older man after the competition- teaching him a lesson on grace and humility.

Mikey is such a class act. Much needed professionalism and heart for the BJJ culture and lots of years ahead to transform it for the good.

Mikey is such a good person he doesn’t want his opponent to leave upset no matter what happened. RESPECT 💪🏾

Man, I remember being on no sleep after my bros bachelor party, getting on a bus at 6 am from San Diego to Long Beach to watch this...it was worth it!

Mikey came out on top in more ways than one here.

you have to shake Mikey's hand , he seems like such a genuine guy.

I can totally understand not wanting to shake your opponents hand immediately after a BIG loss but to suggest you are going to shake hands and then pull away is nothing short of childish and poor character; your true self is shown in loss.

I saw this match live it was really exciting and the fake handshake thing everybody was really mad about for a while.

Mikey brings his opponents true character out. He humbles the prideful.

I'll never forget this poor sportsmanship by Bruno. Could never look at him the same after acting like an absolute child after this loss.

Bruno lost twice in my opinion

Fantastic match of pure skill. Bruno plays the rules for points and waits it out to re-sweep getting ankle grips early and waiting until the other guy is on top so I'm not sure what people are mad about with Mikey "stalling", they both play to the rules of the event and have the skill to do so.

Bruno não sabe perder no jiu jitsu as federações tinhas q ser mais severas com desrespeito,a arte marcial e acima de tudo uma ferramenta pra nos tornarmos melhores seres humanos!
