Sigh. Passive POE. MikroTik. Stop the non sense about “cost effective”. Just release a separate “Pro” range. There are times we really don’t care about price - as long as features to performance. There are different market verticals. I just scoffed at this. I have many prior mAntBoxes deployed and they are 802af standard. Come on mannnnn I get it. Now MikroTik going to push for their own WiFi vendor lock-in to sell more POE switches. For that to happen. We need more and better l2 / l3 switches. Thanks.

I hope there is a OmniTIK 52 PoE ax with a SFP+ uplink is on the horizon. This would be a great product for prublic WiFi and Safety, e.g. single device on a pole serving Public WiFi and powering surveillance cameras via POE

When do you plan to release these units? Also, what outdoor client radios (and when?) Should we expect disc and sxt models my wishlist: omnitik ax w/ 4x4 radios netbox/netmetal with 4x4 radios. SXT ax

What about new gen of CRS switches with more options of 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, 10 Gbps and 25 Gbps??? It's taking forever when your competition is wiping you out ahead of you!

Mikrotik was selling ACv1 wireless in 2023. ACv2 was released in 2016. At the end of 2023, we got wireless wave 2 driver. And I have not paid any attention to the AX wireless access points specifically because of the 1. New drivers. 2. New caps-man. 3. Lack of an outdoor model. The switches... Been asking for that update for like 2 years now. But considering the CRS353 is still broken 3 years after release... Well...

@@ChrisNicholson agree with you and I have lost interest on their Wi-Fi products based on all these issues (plus the mess with the latest ROSv7.13 upgrade). I am more interested in their switches and routers and I am looking newer models with more speeds (mGig anyone?) aside the 8 port that they just launched.

Hello, are you good? I used this 15s ax device, the signal of this device is weak, its TX power does not rise above 15 dbm. Is there any solution for this, please help

Why For God's sake passive PoE in, and no 802.3af/at? Why MikroTik does not make this type of WiFi devices with the 802.3af/at. It is very disappointing.👎

I will never again buy mikrotik. I have at least 3-5 dropped LTE connections every day (!) while on parallel equipment of other brand I have zero lost connections. Never again.

Have you tried contacting our support? support@mikrotik.com We use the same devices we sell - no LTE issues here, other uses also would have reported if this was the usual case. Send us more details and let's get to the bottom of this!

Heummmm ... I dont get it... What is the purpose of a WISP grade product if it lacks any synchronization mechanism, such as GPS? Is it purely based on the 802.11ax protocol without any kind of wireless "patch layer" ? I mean, are options like Nstream or NV2 unavailable because the Wi-Fi 6 protocol addresses/fixe the hidden node problem? 🤔🧐🫨

Every time I hear "passive PoE" one network admistrator dies inside me :( . Tell me WHY is such a problem to have 802.3 at/af/bt standard PoE in place apart from small price increase? If It's doesn't have active PoE support it's no-go for me especially when previous mANTBox 52 15s had it.

It would be a significant price and size increase. Most people that use exclusivity MikroTik products in their network, don’t care which PoE type is used, as long as one device can power another. We do have other products with af/at Poe too

Yeah I agree it is disappointing. It made sense a long time ago, but PoE isn't a new technology anymore and shouldn't be that expensive to add.

Please release “Pro” Wi-Fi devices to compete with the higher priced or higher tier competitor products. Or else MikroTik market share in US market will shrink. (Wi-Fi products) I use MikroTik for campgrounds and other outdoor type deployment. But not always I’ll use MikroTik switches due to lack of features….. Please listen. Or pass to the CEO Stop the focus on the under served market vertical to hit price point for “cheaper”. We get it. Covid affected POR costs. It’s effected ALL other manufacturers and their pricing on POE devices.

Why is passive PoE a problem? All the (all be it a limited amount) switches I have played with PoE on has had support for passive PoE too. Just a toggle in the UI.

Which has the option for station and AP. I want it to receive the signal from my Power device connected to my main MikroTik and broadcast in 2 GHz. I want the clients to see and authenticate through the captive portal of the main MikroTik.

All Mant series have been great products. I wish they were a bit smaller in size since sometimes their look is something for which our clients complain.

I think this product will come into it's own as Outdoor targeted features start to appear in RouterOS
