Daft Punk's song immediately connected with me when I first heard it, with it's bizarre gloominess paired with a funk that complemented one another and tapped into so many feelings I was having at the time. I would always be humming the harmony or bassline that'd get stuck in my head. Your synth and bass instruments legit bring out my favorite sections of the song while you add your own twists that fit right in. Truly a masterpiece of a cover.
