If his career took a nose dive due to injuries then AC Milan should have invested in a better strength and conditioning coach/program and tell him to stay out of the late night partying all the time...
@Roy Sunshine that was Adriano bro! Pato had injury issues, Adriano depressed due to father death, at a time I think he would have surpassed r9 ronaldo phenomenon .
Pato is not at all similar to R9. Pato was a pace merchant, and not a great footballer. That’s why injuries destroyed his career; he couldn’t fall back on other skills.
I've had the honor of playing against him when we were teens in Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil!!! He was 12 and I was 13.. he used to play with the guys 1 year older!!! Even younger he was the best of his teams ever!!!!
Started really young, was 17 on his first appearance in Milan. And made a huge impact quick as well, so at 19 everybody knew about him already. He was done pretty quick too, from 21 on it was downhill.
It's not the finish or the self through ball that impresses me the most, but the confidence...at no point did he seem to hesitate. He knew exactly what he was doing before he even received the ball.
The finish is disgusting… lifts his chest and opens up his hips to send the keeper just to calmly nutmeg him on his way down. Crazy composure against arguably one of the best Barcelona teams in history.
Sousa Cassenda Hulo Hulo your So wrong He was Considered One Of the Best Youngsters in the world Brazil and the world believed he was a Reborn Version Of Kaka But in A Striker version
And non stop parties. If you party that much, you will just rely on your gifts. Imagine if he was in the gym, those injuries would not effect him then.
@@AFrqPREV typical internet loser who doesn’t properly read, he’s talking about his acceleration not about the move before that dummy, read before you comment.
I remember watching this game live and Barca were favourites to win but this goal just gave them a real wake up call. Everyone watching was just shocked. This skill and raw running at defenders is something we just don't see any more from strikers. Players are more tactical nowadays and would rather keep possession rather than advance like this. Brilliant talent who was just too injury prone
yea it was great but in situations like that shooting threw the keepers legs is the best thing u can do because 99% of the time they open their legs in these situations its like a trick
AC Milan 4-0 (1994) Valencia 4-1 (2000) Bayern 4-0 (2013) Liverpool 4-0 (2019) Bayern 8-2 (2020) PSG 4-1 (2021) They've often been smacked out of the tournament.
@@bcbitchkkv 6 times in 26 years, that's bad??? And none of those were smacked like the 8-2. Going out on away goals against Roma, 4-3 against Liverpool, 5-2 against PSG is not bad😂😂😂 And what you would notice is that most of these teams went on to win the UCL. So, Barca getting eliminated to the eventual champions doesn't seem very embaressing to me.
@@user-lj6jp8qp7z in a very poor year for italian football, the transition between Inter and Juve's dominance, that Milan side was hopeless against any big team in Europe at the time
@@ricardocorreia2542 What are you talking about? They beat Inter 2-1 in the super coppa italia final that season. They smashed Arsenal 4-0 that season. They got to the Champions League quarter final that season. Two Barcelona penalties that were never penalties is what knocked them out of the Champions League that season. They were also the 1st team in over 4 years to hold Barca to a 0-0 in the champions league in over 4 years. Inter Milan finished 9th that season so I don't know what you are talking about. AC Milan lost out on the title to Juve that year by only 4 points. That season 2011/12 was the final season of the golden era of Milan. You can't deny it.
Most effortless goal ever (because of his pace). I think Guardiola said after the game that he tought Pato will score 50 goals when he saw this at the opening of the game. If you think about it, it's actually strange that this ultra fast players didn't and still don't score more goals against teams like Barca with their defence line at 40 meters from the goal.
Same here, it was suddenly but just perfect in the flow of the moment every step was perfectly measured insane pace and finish against the best team of the world at the time Fc Barcelona in just 24 seconds that was what made this goal so special in my opinion
Omfg...the way he just bursts all the way ,that speed making barca's defence /midfield like they just got back from vacations gives you goosebumps...should be among the best goals ever scored...thank you for that glorious moment of infusion Pato!!
This goal always left an impression on me. This speed demon just blowing by what was the best defense at the time and scoring so effortlessly within 30 seconds.
I love it, it like he’s playing against kids. It was 2011-12 Barcelona that had won the CL and La liga the year before and won 4 trophies that very season.
I can watch this a hundred times and its still as satysfying and smooth as it was for the first time. Such a shame that both Pato and AC Milan are not doing so great nowadays.
I remember Zlatan being injured right before that game and Pato would be the replacement, and i told my little brother just see what Pato will do, he was my favorite player
