For both Gwen and Miles that one year of separation was unbearable and hurted them a lot. Gwen returned to Miles dimension to find out whether he felt the same way as her and when she got the confirmation from his sketchbook it was clear to her that feelings are mutual. It was then she decided to give more priority to their "just us" moment (spidey date) thus getting distracted and failing to catch the spot. From the scenes in the movie Gwen herself told Jess "never gotten too close to someone" where Jess asking her to get over her feelings for Miles and focus on on spider duties. Why was it so hard for her to say" goodbye Miles" while leaving his dimension? She was almost in tears. It was clearly evident from the way she looked at their polaroid picture at the beginning. Gwen and Miles relationship is what Miles described to uncle Aaron "laying down the ground work".He found something unique about Gwen unlike the other girls he met. Gwen believing him and saying he had the potential was what that he needed the most that time. Apparently it looked like a friendship but deep down it was the start of something new. On other hand Gwen didn't have a extrovert personality just like Miles. Her fear of getting close to Miles and losing him ,made her not showing too much emotions in ITSV. She was trying to control and hold back herself from falling for Miles ,aka her spiderman.Still she indirectly hinted the romantic attraction towards Miles in their every conversation. She missed him so much ,her eyes reflected how much she loved Miles. She made friends in spider society ,went to missions, followed strictly the laws but why was she not contented with that? Basically she got a home there,Jess as her mentor, Hobbie as a big brother like figure and Pavitr as another friend. Only Miles was lacking. The reason why she joined the society in first place. Both Rio and Pavitr could sense the tension between them.Gwen and Miles have their own arcs but still they are "the same in important ways". The bond they made couldn't be forgotten easily. Gwen was seen happy ,normal and sharing peaceful sweet moments only with Miles. Otherwise she was in the verge of snapping. The thought and being around Miles calmed her soul. Love is so delicate and that it needs to be handled with genuine care is what they are going to learn in BTSV.

Earth 42, Miles being a Prowler, Glitching, Miguel being hostile to Miles, The concepts of Anomalies and Canon Events are 100% New Content.
@@A221GamesIROffical He had Aunt May, Gwen Stacy (Ultimate: Like a Sister to Miles and Peter both also Carnage), Mary Jane, Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Jessica Drew (Female Clone of Peter Parker) who acted as a surrogate family instead. The retcon to 616 changed their fates: Miles entire family resurrected and whole he even got a baby sister out of it, Uncle Aaron turned Dark Grey instead of Evil, OG Peter Parker is a friend and ally...Might be a stretch to call him a brother though they're not as close as the Insomniac variants.
@@flamesofchaos13 Correction. Rio was killed by a stray bullet in Miles's fight with Venom, Jeff disowned Miles but he *never* abused him in any point in his life at all. Uncle Aaron was pure evil most def, but Miles didn't kill him, they fought (Because Miles started to stand up to his uncle being a dick towards him and he got angry and decided to kill him because of it) and Aaron's shock gauntlet got messed up mid-fight and Aaron saw that but he *kept trying* to kill him, regardless of it being messed up. The the gauntlet exploded. Aaron died because of him trying to kill his own family with a faulty gauntlet, it's not on Miles for his death but on Aaron for trying to kill him and not stopping the fight to check the gauntlet. The *absolutely* worst thing Aaron did that still haunts Miles to this day in the comics is telling him, "You're just like me..." before he died from his wounds from the explosion.
I love Miles and Gwen friendship/relationship. But friendship is the reason why there love story feels real and relationship feels raw. Miles POV Friendship: Him offering friendship to Gwen was out of love for her. Because he knows that’s what she needs someone to talk to and keep her safe. And though she may be insecure or when life hits her hard. Miles is that person that helps her get back up based on what happened on the clock tower by giving her advice. Gwen friendship POV: U know watching this movie a thousand of times made me realise something. Gwen has layers when it comes to friendship in this movie. And comes with understanding, values and cares within five things emotionally, personally, physically, mentally and socially. For Peter, that was her best friend because he understood, cared and valued her both emotionally and socially. But the problem was that him and Gwen didn’t really know each other by showing dishonesty. Hobie is someone that does understand as a spider person and value her as a person based on how much she talks about miles to him. So he is always there for her like a normal friend should be but he doesn’t understand her as a normal person or connect closely. So though he understands her physically as a spider person and personally on how much she thinks about miles. He doesn’t know the other four things. Miles is the closest/best friend she has because he understands, values and cares for her the five things. Which creates meaning and makes feel happy by being vulnerable with him and makes her feel like a normal girl by understanding all those things. Though he offers all those things Gwen is still hesitant to go further or take a step forward into something greater. That’s why she offers friendship because it’s her love for him.Though she has to suppress how she truly feels about him. Now when it comes to their relationship. Them being able to relate to each other develops feelings. They both are able to express themselves on how much they care for each other when they were on that clock tower. And miles telling her that there is a first time for everything which gives Gwen new hope or perspective. And at the end Gwen thinking about that line stating that one thing she thing she learned from him it’s all possible. Which shows the change of dynamic and mentality that Gwen has now. They are both able to communicate, think about each other, love deeply about each other, be awkward and dumb but still act cool around each other and get jealous of each other. Miles is right they are the same. This is a great love story based on two characters that want to be something more which they both show. I can’t wait for their love/romance story to continue on in third with them ending up together. In summary, they both have families who they love unconditionally and care so much about. friends that helped them grow and understand especially their friendship. But when it comes to their romance/love story, is that though they are from different universes. Love found them because of the bond and connection they have each other in all aspects personally, emotionally, physically, socially and mentally it brought so much meaning to them that love hit them unexpectedly.
I'm sure they'll be referenced in an alternate/future timeline, but I want it to end with just them getting together. I'm not really a fan of the timeskip epilogue that we've seen in Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Naruto Shippuden.
I’ve been waiting to see something like this. This love is very kinda real also but the problem with real humans is they hide. I have a different definition of love and this is it. No sex or gross stuff. Men and women all around me are fools and in confusion. And single people aren’t happy like I am. …. Ugh humans. My love for the world is deeper it comes from above. it babbles me people are surprised at these two characters. It’s simple to find this in real life.
That’s why Miles and Gwen’s relationship of built up I can believe and take seriously because there are certain qualities about the other that the other is drawn to; something that is either missing from their lives or a pain in their current lives that seems to healed by the other’s influence. Many built up of relationships I can never take seriously these days. For example, Aang and Katara from avatar. That relationship I can’t take seriously and their development to get together is so cliche and predictable. Why is Gwen drawn to Miles? Gwen avoids friends because she is afraid that getting an attachment would further out that person in harm’s way. She refuses to confront her father and follows the spider society to not only escape her father but to she believes that since her father’s fate is coming she follows the society blindly. It is until miles does something that Gwen never did: Take a chance to not believe that the canon is 100 percent fate and should allow to happen. After her father quits and won’t be captain it is that moment that miles’ way to take action would not guarantee the canon as 100 perfect supposed to be. Miles making her realize that is one of the contributing factors as to why she is drawn to him.
That talk you say about Miles not being mad at Gwen but devastated, I bet he will raise at her and Peter and trying to make them fell completely guilty and sorry.

Miles vs others for forgiveness. Comics: His First Love was connected to Hydra ratted him out to them causing him to almost be tortured to death...He broke up with her but didn't harm her. Insomniac Games: Spares the life of his father's killer then actively saves him placing himself in mortal danger by doing so...Leading to the chain of events that converted that villain into a good guy causing him to save Peter's life (by the way he also contributed to Aunt May's death). Both Peter and Miles let him walk away. Films: Uncle Aaron = A Criminal that worked as an Enforcer for Kingpin helping to kill Blonde Peter Parker then later is choking to death Miles. Miles in ATSV: Placing him on the same mural as the Spider-Gang right next to Gwen in the center then has positive memories of his final speech telling Miles to just keep going when he's doubting himself. Miles to Aaron 42: Immediately hugs him for comfort. Tells him "I had an Uncle Aaron he was a bad guy but he looked out for me...He did a lot of bad things but I knew he wanted to be good. He just didn't know he had a choice".
I will rage quit if they can't be together. I did not like the death flag she had when she promised her dad she'd be right. Big no no. Just want them to have a happy ending together. Miles is just as downbad as she is for him so he will forgive her but she's gonna have to be real with him, no more "half of who I am" and I think it's gonna be her telling her how she feels. Fingers crossed anyway

@@justingipson8510 Oh, that would be a really interesting occurrence. I wonder if Gwen's death would be seen as a canon event given that it's a prevalent occurrence like the deaths of an uncle and a police captain.
@nightmarefanatic1819 it's gotta be. The fact she said it never ends well for Gwen Stacy just screams she's meant to die or her loved ones are. Her father, her love (Peter/Miles) and herself. And just like how she managed to get her dad to break a Canon event, Miles will do it as well. It's all possible/first time for everything.
