12:24 torpedoes have quite a bit of safety technology built into them Nowa days. They have sensors in them that keep themselves from blowing up if they get stuck in their firing barrel. They also have run time sensors and safety circuits to make sure they’re far enough away from the ship before blowing up. Source: 9years as a submarine sailor, MT1(SS)

6:50 The Soldier Clowns are the Greek President Guard. The style of their attire is a reference to the history of Greek military uniforms, and the pompoms on their shoes were meant to conceal daggers on the toe. This would be cool, if their shoes still had daggers and they didn’t march in a way which is meant to reference their unit’s history as cavalrymen. Also, Greece still has a draft.

Hi, I'm from Germany. The “unique” uniform is a traditional Greek military uniform called fustanella which is now only worn by the Presidential Guard. It’s a ceremonial uniform, it wouldn’t be worn anywhere else. The Soldier Clowns are the Greek President Guard.

I am not in the military, but I have worked alongside ex-military and veterans for a long time and I hear stories ALL THE TIME. love your channel. My brother put me one to it, it is the absolute funniest thing ever!!!! It just improves the day when you can have a good laugh. keep up the good work. @pepe ga If he ain't, at best, has multiple broken ribs and/or cracked sternum accompanied with severe skin hemorrhaging. At worst, a shattered ribcage, organ ruptures, and internal hemorrhaging that will require immediate medical attention.

I'm Navy. I can tell you that yes though some of those torpedoes have timers. That one impaticular looks like the training torp. So yes scary. However there was not enough compressed air to push that thing out. The 50cal. Barrel falling off is most definitely because the damn thing was not put in correctly which in the navy gets you in to sooooooooooooo much trouble.

the old m2 browning had to be adjusted for proper head spacing or that would happen. not a huge deal. newer ones have that worked out.

Army 91F here. That last clip is devastatingly hilarious for the reason that his ribcage is gone. That barrel is 3125 lbs BY ITSELF. So imagine the force of 18 angry Silverback punching you in the chest simultaneously. You gonna forget how to breathe for at least 3 weeks

Giving additional info here The last clip is from Taiwan The ROC army soldier was trying to troubleshoot the piece after a malfunction when the gun suddenly fired His rib cage was indeed fractured and liver was damaged as well

Live grenade training, one trainee was doing all the right steps and then it came to cocking the arm and aiming. Once his arm was back, he released the spoon! 🤯. DI freaked out and kept telling him to throw it. After the 3d count he finally tossed it. DI grabbed pvt and threw him into the Foxhole. The grenade blew within a second of being released. Let's just say that DI lit his ass up once it exploded. Everyone was wide eyed behind the glass and couldn't believe what he had done

I got to talk to one of the drill Sargents when i was high school i asked him which group of recruits annoy him the most his response, "usually it a mix aboth city and country kids, the country kids pretty much know what their doing on the firing range so they tend to jump ahead without listening, city kids need constant instructions."

Greek Evzones are the ceremonial guard of the tomb of the unknown soldier in Athens. The guys with the “dresses and Pom poms on their shoes”. It is an extreme honour to be accepted into the Evzones and the criteria for acceptance is extreme, such as being a minimum of 6.1 feet in height. The uniform has a complex historical significance, and is related to the Greek war of independence.

Quite a few Royal Guards have strange uniforms, the Yeoman Warders in England for instance, and the Coldstream Guards with the big fuzzy hats. But don't let the funny outfits fool you, they're still Elite Soldiers.
