military MRE Review! We made another eating MRE video
Eating military MRE! Also known as an Army MRE, military ration, and Army ration. We made an MRE video last year and we finally decided to make another one trying different MREs this time! MRE stand for meal ready to eat and is a military ration for situations where having a dining facility isn't ideal. An MRE really isn't as bad as you would think either! An MRE can be eaten cold or hot, we prefer to eat them heated up since we have the time. I remember the national guard giving these out to citizens days after Hurricane Katrina hit. As a kid I thought they were so cool. I used to get so excited when I had candy in mine 😂

Chelsey Chante They're like a big, military-grade Lunchables. So it's understandable children like the idea/look of MREs. I did when I was a kid as well.

The cheese tortelinni in tomato sauce actually sounds so good lol! My fiance was an 0331 (machine gunner) in the Marine Corps. He was in for four years and did three deployments! He told me about MRE's and I have always wanted to try one so it would be really cool to win one, if not i think im going to order some and try them with him! It would be fun :)

One time I was leaving subway and as I was getting into my vehicle I noticed a brown package that read mre on it laying on the ground; I wanted to pick it up, but I also wanted to be a good civilian and just leave it as is because I really didn't know what it was and thought it may have been important and whoever left this package would come back and get it, so I drove away. My boyfriend at the time use to be in the military and I had told him about my story and he goes "did it look like this" and it turns out he had an mre package in his room. It was exactly the type of package I had seen on the ground. He didn't show me what was in it or how it worked but it was an mre package that I saw. Would have been really cool to open it and try it now seeing you guys do it. I love y'all videos! Thanks for serving Kyle. God bless y'all

Since my recent completion of BMT, I can say that Chili Mac is life. Get cool with your MRE monitor during BEAST week and tell him to finesse the Chili Mac for breakfast and lunch. Skittles in it are clutch too.

I remember bmt(flight 308 BMTS). So fun! I got into the bad habit of eating too fast. Especially lunch and dinner. We had 15 minutes to eat, and some days, I would grab at least two or three meals, depending on how the day went.

Mexican style chicken stew. But my favorite thing in an MRE, if you can find it is the vanilla pound cake and smear peanut butter on it. So good. MREs get a bad rap but they're mostly pretty good.

I don't know about you but I'm in Civil Air Patrol and my Flight Sergeant always tells us to never mix things in your canteens because they get really grimy and nasty inside and you don't want that in your water. You may have been told different because you're actually in the military but that's what we were told.
