Finally I made a video about MREs! You guys can see what is inside some of the infamous Military Meals Ready to Eat! We opened up and showed you meal 14, meal 15, and meal 16. These MRE were left over from someone else who moved out so I took the to make this video! Hope you guys enjoy our MRE tasting video!

You gotta field wrap what you want ahead of time to prepare for missions. Combat ready MRE's you take out the meals and maybe the breads or "pie's" and wrap them up with some tape! Maybe take a spoon or 2 with you and extra heater bags. forget all the rest, that can all stay in the truck in a box or something. (13F served in Iraq 06-07)

When I was in the Marines we had a metal canteen cup that we used to heat things up like water, make coffee, and heat meals. I don't know if they still issue those or not, as I was in the early part of the 1990's. Most of the time however, we just ate the MRE's as they were. The ones I had didn't even come with anything to heat them up with so unless you had a campfire set up, you're eating it as it is. This video amazed me as to how much more they come with now compared to back then.

I'm Iraqi and let me tell you that america soldiers never ate those army meals actually we used to eat them for fun just like to taste some kind of american food, gosh it was horrible😝 some soldiers actually were really kind and whenever they'd inter our town and see us playing in the street they used to give us some sweets and kandy but if they didn't have any they'd give us those meals🙂 in fact amarican soldiers used to eat traditional Iraqi food they rarely eat that crap excuse my english if i said something wrong I'm not a good english speaker😶😶

I ate my first MRE at the marine poole family day competitive event. in Houston. The families ate bar b q ribs and steaks etc but we were stuck with MREs. I will admit though...my MRE gave me soooo much energy and was very good. The skittles i got made it even better!!

its funny because he uses the heater wrong...because he's following the directions the correct way is to toss your food in the bag, dumb an excessive amount of water and weight down the open end under something heavy, like a rock or a jerry can. After the bag bursts from the expansion (in around 2-5 minutes) and you will have a piping hot meal

in my tec school we ate mres for lunch for 4 straight weeks. plus another week when we 1st started... i love the Maple sausage one! the Mexican Style Chicken stew is good too! were given 1-2 hours...

My fav mre entrés were the cheese tortellini and beef brisket. I loved the pound cakes, chocolate energy bars, crackers and peanutbutter(it was so dry and delicious) and the white bread with strawberry jam.

i'm not sure why i'm watching this but WOW it's painful to watch airforce do military things. it's not a napkin, it's tp. for the drink mix, throw it in your mouth and swallow. it's sugar and electrolytes. you guys used heaters and had 20 minutes to eat in basic?! wtf. were you getting your nails done too? you would complain about not getting enough time to heat your food. wow. try having 2 minutes to eat everything it. rip off a corner and squeeze it all down your throat. or have 1 of these things for 3 days. the heaters are contraband. you ate the candy and desserts in basic? ok. where do i sign up for girlscout camp

Just a little helpful tip, if you put the water in the bag before the rest of your food, and completely soak the heating pad, it will work better. Once it's wet, put it in the middle of the food that you're heating up and then put it on the rock or something. 😊

What I found to be the most effective way and never had a MRE heater not work, is to put the food and water, then you shake it for like 5-10 seconds then put it in the box
