I feel like late 2000s-early 2010s saw something special happen with edm. We saw the combination of hip-hop and dance. I can remember 4 specific artists who really set it off and these were Will. I. Am, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, and Pitbull. To me this was so unique and I always go back to their hits of the time

As a millennial watching this, I am dancing and singing along with them too! I was 12 when Nelly released that song.
