Hi Mike, awesome video...! At 4:25 you mentioned that one thing you never ever wanna do is hook your wire ropes directly to the spreader bar... I'm sorta new at watching this industry and I'm sure there is a good reason you mentioned this otherwise you wouldn't have said it but being a new-bee, I was just curious why that's not a good idea for someone to do...? thanks for any explanation...
#1 if u hook each hook to a side u cant spin the bar like u would if u had one hook in the middle #2 if each hook is hooked to a end and u winch up the winches pull towards eachother straining the spreader bar #3 the knuckles on the ends are made to be pulled toward each other so the bottoms pull away and spreads the straps,a 40-60 degree angle is the suggested angle for a spreader bar which can be made buy using those orange straps and cant be made with winches hooked
@@MattyMalvs9 Wow... Thanks for the detail on that Matt... Soooo interesting and so much to what goes into this industry... Sounds like you really know your stuff and have a lot of good experience. Appreciate the information AND the reply...!!!
