Thank you! It really touches my heart to see people who not only think about getting profit but also have a higher purpose of helping others. very much appreciated
I've already choose my product & done all necessary work for FBA also. Now within few days I'll be going to place my first batch of order to my manufacturer. I watched your last year session & that did a emense help to us to start with this journey. Definitely, waiting now for all the upcoming videos.
Thanks for sharing this series. You guys are awesome! I recently watched season four. I am in the early stages of creating my first product, but still have a lot learn. It is extremely helpful to hear some of your approach to this business and to hear the stories from the various entrepreneurs.
Hi guys, this is great... I'm following along and hope to launch at the end of the series :) after going through the process with the JS team on this series.
I found a product in the pet niche that has high demand with low competition but easily the best option has a significant but easily fixable flaw that the manufacturer seems unwilling to fix after a couple years on the market. I spotted it in part to a video on the JS tool because I had already researched these tools for my own use. I wish I knew more about this process as I'm a total noob. I guess all I can do is keep learning on youtube & hope the opportunity is still there if I learn what I need to know.
Absolutely the best content for beginners ( and of course to add value to the current FBA sellers) I have seen so far. I am super excited as I may be following along to start up my own FBA. I don't have big budget (May be 3-4K max). Can you please advise the best strategy to get this going with this budget? Thanks (btw, I am in Canada)
You can check out the 4th season of the Million Dollar Case Study to see what launch strategy we took 😉 Or, this video should help as well! bit.ly/3nRYGOS ^PW
Hi guys, you are doing a great job. Sometimes i wonder why you are doing it all for free. Because people have very less informative videos than yours and they're selling them as course to become a successful amazon seller. By the way thanks to all your team.
Question: minute 16:25 what do you mean that you need to make sure the design is not patented? so for example, why you guys didn't chose the water bottle?
So it is important to check for existing patents and trademarks when choosing a product for private label. This is to avoid any IP infringement or Amazon terms violation.
Thank you for this awesome video! May I ask, why did you pick "Pet Supplies" as a category? May you share some more information on how to hone in on the right product category before even going in to Jungle Scout?
Hiya! We love pets here at Jungle Scout, there was no particular reason other than it's a passion of ours :) To select a category, think about what interests you so you'll be excited to sell and be an expert or love what you are doing!
I'm just starting on the JS journey and so am starting with this series. As I don't want to wait for a whole week for the next episode, do previous seasons follow the same format, i.e. product research, product sales verification, etc? If so I will jump back to S4 or S3 to help me get the process started sooner..
Thank you for sharing this absolutely needed value! I also think it's important to carefully go over how to use the JS App! All of it in detail! Sometimes I get the feeling it's assumed That we automatically know how to use it, and we don't! Thank you JS for sharing this important value!
I love the JS content but I've found the data/extension quite lacking for the UK Marketplace. The sales figures are always erratic and way off which is a real issue when trying to analyse competition.
Sorry to hear about that! Just to let you know, the estimates you see inside the Extension are for 30 days in the future, not for the past 30 days. Could this be a reason for these discrepancies? 🤔^PW
@@junglescout I don't think so, I followed the video along and added a product (our own) to the Product Tracker and it says there's no data when I know there should be. I have mainly done RA/OA in the past and this was always my issue with JS.
In this case, would you mind sending us your email address via Facebook/Instagram? We will ask our team to follow up with you via email and explain what is happening! 😊 ^PW
do you have video JUST for amazon wholesale? im watching all these videos but they keep talking about private label. Like do i have to buy the upc code before i confirm deal with supplier? I just wish there was a guide specifically for wholesale. If there is please link.
Hi JS, first of all thank you for sharing all those valid informations. One of my biggest concerns is the "spending" idea. It's not possible for me right now order 100 units of a 15, 16 dls per unit price. Is it possible to start with a lower price? Less units, lower price per unit? What would you recommend?
I have a quick question. when is the right time to open FBA account with Amazon? Should I do it at the end when I order from the supplier or I should open account before hand. Would it bring additional charge?
We recommend to open a Seller Central account after you choose a product and find a manufacturer. That's because, Amazon will charge you their subscription fee each month! ^PW
The Opportunity Finder helps you determine if you should pursue a specific niche based on the top 1 million user searches on Amazon each month. You can check this article for more info: support.junglescout.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037689513-Opportunity-Finder-Feature-Overview The Product Database is also an automatic product research tool, and you can easily choose the criteria you want for your business to narrow down the results. You can check our Help Center article here: support.junglescout.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008616554-Product-Database-Customizing-your-Search
You should talk about margin after having paid costs and taxes. That is the real money that goes into our pockets. Therefore, one should look for poducts that have at least 20$ profit margin. Otherwise it may be a waste of time, money and energy. What do you think JS ?
Great as usual 👌 What is the best time to order your product as in February is chinies New year so I am bit confuse here thanks for your support and sharing knowledge
In the beginning, you used Product Database to find potential products. But later on (in Episode 3) you started using Keyword search to find potential products. It appears that you jump back and forth between Product Database and Keyword search, without explaining the reasoning and logic behind it. Would you please advise exactly when to use each?
The reason why Lenny was using Keyword Scout is to make sure that the product is indeed in demand but not too competitive! You need to remember that you will also need to work on keyword rank after launching your product so verifying the volume of searches and estimating PPC costs is really important 😀^PW
Thank you for your feedback! 😊 The buy box owner is the seller who's getting the sale in case someone buys a product in a listing with multiple sellers. ^EG
Hi guys, I think that you are doing is awesome and helpful. I have been thinking about selling in Amazon for so long that I went get a clothing license store, but I don't know what could be a good start for me in this category that why I don't start yet. Could you please give me an idea on what could be profitable at the moment in the clothing section? Thanks your help.
Unfortunately, we can't advise anything when it comes to product selection, but if you subscribe to our tools, you will be able to find profitable products in this category 😊
Are you referring to the explanation for each feature? Yes, we do have them in the Academy where you have videos to get a tutorial for the tools and features. 👍 ^EG
in 30:32, the "dog blanket" was very high competition and ruled out right away. How come it pops up later and became winning product in this case study. I did not get it. As Lenny said this product did not fullfill the follwing request---"low competition high demand "
Hi I'm a new jungle Scout user and I have a question regarding the layout of the product database. When I populate search results there are 14 columns going from left to right like category, min/max revenue, min/max sale and so forth. When I am looking at the data for the results at the top of the screen I have to scroll all the way down In Order to access and grab the scroll bar to scroll right. Even if I limit the results to 25 listings per page I still have to scroll down, then grab the bar to scroll right and then scroll back up to see the farthest right columns of the results in the top of the page. This is driving me crazy because it's so time cosuming. Is there a way to have that horizontal scroll bar to always be showing at the bottom without having to scroll all the way down? Please help and let me know if this is the way it's designed or if there is a way to always have that horizontal scroll bar showing. I'd love to commit to your app but this for me is a deal breaker and I hope it can be fixed if it's a design issue. Thanks jungle Scout
Hi guys thanks for the amazing video, love Junglescout! I wanted to ask the following how come the opportunity score can be one day a 3 and another day a 7?
wait i get it but i have a question if the reviews are like around 1000 or something then is the competition high or is it when the monthly sale is high?
Reviews are attributed to a specific seller and reflect the current market preference. This is why it good indicator of how competitive a product category/niche is. For example, if you’re looking at a product category and the top sellers all have thousands of reviews, it’s probably an incredibly competitive category. On the flip side, if you’ve discovered a high-demand product where the sellers only have a handful of reviews, it might be worth getting into.
Sure thing! Make sure to subscribe to our RU-vid channel or sign up for our newsletter to get the latest updates! Check it out here: www.junglescout.com/email-preferences/ 😁 - FO
I’m wondering about future demand. Given it’s going to take some time to get the business started, can Jungle Scout estimate demand 2-3 months in future?
Thank you so much for the very helpful episode! I am at the stage of product research right now. Would you please kindly advise me what to do when it comes to the molding fees? The product I want to make is plastic and per the factory I need pay near $2,000 molding fees to make the changes..😭 Is this something “normal” in the private labeling Journey??
Thanks for reaching out, Michelle! I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed the episode 😃 Yes, a moulding fee can be quite pricy! Have you seen Season 4 of the MDCS? Greg and Rolando have a mould made for their keyboard slider, which you may find interesting! Check it out here: jnglsct.com/FBPG-MDCS4 - LJ
HI Lenny, Is it worth it to start selling a product, if you are yourself a manufacturer of that product and have good hand on experience, but considering a highly competitive category?
Hi, I started watching the European one and apparently it was filmed in 2017 so it is totally outdated. Could you please tell me when this season was filmed so i can decide if it is worth watching? Thank you
This one is happening right now. Season four was a year and a half ago. Just go to this this channels video pages and you can find season four. Season four is still pretty up to date!
Hello from Colombia 🥰. I have a question.. How long do you think I need to dedicate in searching my product. and how many days or weeks does it take to find it. I hope to be clear with my English
Hey Paola! 👋 We had a "Jungle Camp" in Columbia in 2019 and I have to say we had SO much fun! 🤩 Finding a product does take some time and patience, and there isn't a one time-scale fits all... However, keep watching the Million Dollar Case Study for some great hints and tips 😃 - LJ
@@junglescout It was user error. The UI on the website is different than in the video so I was following along a little TO closely and turns out I had entered min 300 sales into the min sellers field instead.
