Im going to make this 👍🏾 7 Days later update: I just made this, I layered a big spoon of red sauce on the bottom of the pan first, then added a lil shredded Cheddar, then added the Alfredoish noodles only -I didn't dump the pot into the pan, added the rest of the red sauce on top and topped with Parmesan, mozzarella, the rest of the white sauce which wasn't much and cheddar...it was really good with Garlic bread and peach cobbler for dessert...I will make again but you may as well make spaghetti the regular way or baked ziti, same overall point, just a lil different but really good...TY 🙏🏽❤️
I think the reason you keep these two sauces separated is because it's supposed to be like traditional lasagna which is layered with a bechamel sauce and a tomato sauce alternating. So this would kind of mimic that. But that looks really good and I will have to try it. I love that you use Creole seasoning in everything. Yum
OMG - I cooked this for dinner and the best spaghetti that I have had… however, since I don’t like ragu pasta sauce, I used Classico roasted garlic pasta sauce
That is the problem, right there. Winn -Dixie “go somewhere where they absolutely love you and you’ll find everything you need Myers for instance just to name a few there is nothing that can come out good with the word Dixie in it😂😂😂
the tomato sauce, creamy sauce, meat and pasta bake is very remenicent of greek pastitsio. looks delish.. I must save and try this - thank you so much.
I'm sorry black people but y'all be doing too much with the seasoning sometimes. Chicken bouillon and season salt just to boil spaghetti? You literally just need rock salt in the water, that's it. Not to mention the rest of the ridiculous amount of ingredients you used for this abomination. Then you use one of the cheapest and grossest brands of pasta jar sauce (Ragu) to mix with it. Big yikes.
Ok! I’m going to buy ingredients this weekend. Now I’ve done oven baked in past “not yours” so I’ll give it a go!!! Looks good! Also do you use a local butcher shop for your meats???? You should and help them out by posting them and they hook you up?????? Nothing beats FRESH MEAT!!!
I read the positive comments and I felt instantly sad. Americans feed their children PopTarts, Kraft's Mac & Cheese, and, if it's a _special,_ special occassion, they'll cook 'em the Million Dollar Spaghetti. None of these "dishes" contribute to children's brain development. It's just horrible on every level.
sorry, but this looks vile. there's more cheese than actual spaghetti here. the fat content in this recipe alone is enough to feed a small village for a month.
This "viral" TikTok recipe is not new, as you mentioned, you already have it in your recipes. Fact is, this is actually called baked spaghetti and my mom has been making this for at least 20 years or longer even
Such an insult to italian cuisine man, everything in this video is just straight up wrong. Onion and garlic after the meat? flavored pasta water? boiling pasta before the meat? draining the pasta water and not using it? CREAM?! Burned ''fake'' cheese? Indian spices? this is just overcooked pasta with indian flavored cream stew with burned cheese on top. what a mess, what a shame.
It did an absolutely phenomenal job makiny a hit pile of garbage. You drained all the flavour from the beef, didn't make a soffrito, used preminced garlic, preshredded plastic coated cheese, disgusting "ragu". You did nothing right here, sorry.
No wonder its called a million dollar pasta, how much did it cost you with all of these cheese's and cream. sometimes i feel like going to restaurent daily is much cheaper than cooking at home
really? 2 or 3 packs of cheese($9) 1 pint HWC($5) box of spaghetti($3) 1lb beef($7) Misc($10) must have aced mathematics. not to mention would feed a fam of 4 or have left over lunch for the week....
That tic toc recipe is full of fat , cheese butter enough to clog all our arteries and cause heart disease! 🤢🤮 That Alfredo sauce mixed with butter and cream cheese is awful and unhealthy! I will stick to my original baked spaghetti recipe! I guess it’s not a good idea to follow slop recipes on tic toc that someone threw together! Smh 🤦🏽♀️
@@cedrikamayo2220 must be your first time actually cooking with that statement…. All good I’ll explain for the rookies. You put it in the oven after for another 20-25 mins so it will continue to cook in the oven, just like the pasta! You cook it al dente because it’ll be mush if you cook it fully then bake it.
@KDogga79 whatever🤣🤣🤣like I said she specifically stated "cook until no longer pink" but the meat was still pink! I always fully cook my meat for baked spaghetti. I bake it until cheese melts which doesn't take 20-30 minutes🤷🏾♀️ oh, and why are you so mad that we pointed out the fact she said 1 thing yet did another🤣🤣calm down before you get high blood pressure sir🤣🤣
Everything about the dish is wrong, the spaghetti is dead, the broth they cooked in doesn't do the spaghetti any good, the sauce is cheap, the alfredo sauce is also completely wrong, and you shouldn't cover everything with cream or milk or cheese because that's a trick to falsify the taste, rather use a béchamel sauce that enhances the taste, but that... that's just plain wrong, sorry to say that, but that's my take on it
My aunty recently used some soup from a chicken stew i made recently. We had finish the chicken and she used the water to boil the spaghetti, she added a little more salt, and made some spaghetti it actually does enhance the flavor!
