I’ve been watching her since she’s one and a half years of singing I got 400 her song in my personal files. I love this song. And her voice. The emotion…too much to say; so much to feel…my beloved mama, who was 98 years old, passed away right before Thanksgiving this past fall. I miss her everyday. She was my lighthouse, my example, my friend, my protector…I loved her so much. It was my honor to care for her the last 11 years of her life, as she faded away from Dementia. She still had rare moments where I would get a brief glimpse of the smart, beautiful woman I adored so much. My sisters and I used to make her promise us that she’d live to be 100…she almost made it. One of the last moments in her life before she slipped into a coma, I was alone with her, and she took my hand and looked at me in complete cognizance, with a wry smile and an apologetic look, as if to say, “Sorry, honey - I’m not going to be able to keep my promise…but I love you.” I wrote my mama a song for her memorial service. But this song just reaches into my heart and I break…I always break. Beautiful, tragic and full of hope.

Damn, I am a 68 year old man who has been in war zones and thought I was jaded to say the least... and every time I listen to this song I end up with tears running down my face..... she is magnificent.

Angelina wrote this song about her grandfather who recently died. She has a solid family. Her mother was really protective of her on Norways Got Talent. Angelina says her grandmother is the biggest influence to her singing. Angelina wrote a book about her experience with the homeless, parentless girl she gave her shoes to. She said it broke her heart to see the little girl like her so bad off. Angelina was 6 years old when this happened. Her grandmother did the illustrations in her book. Wish the book was available in English...
