One of my favorite stories on here was Alex Roy telling his tale of how he was speeding dressed as a police officer and how he got out of the police station while all the other racers were berating him. Id honestly like to hear if anyone else has ever had an encounter like this. Thank you Casey for answering and I hope the Lykan build goes well!

Wow. I grew up loving steam locomotives too, but my race track from childhood was Nelson Ledges; just a hop skip and a jump from Mid Ohio. I'm sort of sad that I moved away before I even got to take a lap.

You are correct in once people know you can fix things. In my neighborhood ( I have dirt bikes, go carts’ RC cars etc) and they see me working on them a lot 😆 so a neighbor brings over a lawnmower not starting and I fix it. Well fast forward a few years, I get so and so said you can fix things, have tools and that can you fix my kids bicycle, leaf blower, install microwave, garbage disposal, put air in tire, jump start my car.....on and on. But in a way I kinda like being that guy 👍🏻

F-104 Starfighter!? I see Casey is a fellow man of culture. They got a bad rap because of the West Germans, but the _scream_ , the speed, I still think they're the coolest jet ever made. Italy was still using them as interceptors until 2004.

25:00 Absolutely right. I was born in '82 and a lot of people forget how dull and crappy (self-censoring myself for Ed) were pre-internet. Additionally, I have distinct memories of wandering around outside and just being absolutely depressed by things like the Crown Vic and Caprice at the time. Just these ugly brown, burgundy, or baby blue boxes. Cars that were only a few years old and somehow already looked ancient. And so much beige. And let's be real, decades hang around longer than 10 years. So it might be '87 but you're still seeing loads of orange shag carpet, fake wood paneling, and almond coloured fridges and stoves. ... anyway, get off my lawn.

Daaaamn that's a long AMA

The biggest problem with hydrogen is that there's no good way to get it and keeping it contained. (its the smallest atom) Its either hydrolysis or stripping it off methane (which is the most cost effective). By the time you go through the overhead of getting the hydrogen and burning it a fuel cell that requires expensive precious metals you may as well have just burned the oil or stored it in a battery.
