Great video I lived in Chitown for two years and loved it. As a NYC area raised guy it was interesting to see the differences in lifestyle. Holidays season in Chicago was wonderful time...
The Grudge 3 was filmed here 32:00 The neighborhood is called Wicker Park. North ave, Damen ave. and Milwaukee ave are the cross streets Many other movies have been filmed there but the Grudge 3 was the first movie that popped in my mind when you rode through it
love the "navigating urban landscapes" slogan and the intro music. good quality videos and interesting locations off the beaten path for those of us who only know chicago as tourists or from videos/photos. i agree the music should go just so people can hear the natural sounds only if thats what they want.
i like these less traveled, older, but very vibrant urban streets, they are very cool...by the way something should be done to preserve the character of these streets, while still allowing them to adapt to a changing economy.
Agreed but Milwaukee is not less traveled. A lot of people use it to get to work. I used to take it to get to work in the River North area and rush hour was always hectic
00:30 Super Dawg on the left. Hot dog & fries in a box. Another great hot dog place not to far south of Super Dawg was Taste E Dog, home of the pizza dog. Sadly they closed.
God luck with your video and hope you found what you were looking for? IMO this along Clark Street and Lincoln Ave are the most vibrant streets in Chicago today.
