I bought a 2004 Ford F-150 and they gave me a coupon for a whole Milwaukee cordless set with radio. I still have them but the batteries are all bad . This is the way to go !
I believe they are late 90’s Milwaukee tools. Great idea on the adapter. I wish they make an adapter for my V28 Milwaukee tools but they have since discontinued that line. Good video
I did some research and got this of Amazon. This is a cut and paste of the title of the exact adapter i bought December 11 2020. I've had no issues with it fitting my V28 cordless drill. I'm not 100% certain but, i might not have full range use of the speed dials on the drill which is ok for me as long as i can control speed with the trigger. I'm not sure if i can still use the hammer drill feature because i haven't needed to use it since the conversion to M28, The adapter does make the tool slightly heavier. All i care about is my nearlybrand new 10 year old V28 still works. As of this writing the price is $18.99: Adapter Converter Work With Milwaukee M18 18V Li-ion Battery for Milwaukee V18 48-11-1830 Battery;48-11-2200 48-11-2230 18V NI-CD Tool Battery Battery
Any update? I just obtained a the old recip saw. Cost effective compared to new Nicd batteries? I may want to buy the adapter if I start buying the newer m18 tools. Height and weight of it the adapter and M18 vs the old one?
Just want to know if you can still use the full depth of cut for the circular saw? will the bulkier battery with adapter lessen the depth due to the battery hitting the material? TIA!
