I use mine as a gun bag. Pouches hold AR15 mags and Glock mags. Other pouches hold CLP, brushes, gloves, towels, cleaning utensils. Outside pouch laptop sleeve holds 2 holstered handguns. Perfect bag

HVAC tech here, have used this bag for about a year now. Beaten it up through winter, carries TONS of stuff. Mine weighs in about 50lb right now, can basically bring my entire toolbox on my back. Not in love at all with how it looks, but it can carry way more then the veto bags, it does this while tipping over a dozen times a day. all the extra carry points on the bag exterior are great for attaching carabiners, I hang a 3L water bottle on the side strapping. also note that the tape holder WILL break, but its an easy fix. I carry m18 drill and driver, a m18 hacksaw then multimeter, hammer pliers screwdrivers, tons of bits, speaker, I could go on and on. Everything has its own space and easy to keep organized. the packout attachment is a huge bonus for screwboxes/electrical kits. This bag works great for me, haven't seen one that I could replace it with yet.

I do hvac too, backpack is great, fits hammer drill, drill, impact driver, 3 batteries and all my tool/drill bits. Only gripe is it could have some bigger straps/back pad. Mother fucker is HEAVY. Especially going up stairs with it. It does beat pretty much anything with mobility though.

@@stitchthisditchthat259 best tips are to make the bag they you like it and the tools you call upon the most. I do some car work and electrical as a side job. So have my most used tools is what I load it with. Then I connect a pack out medium or small box to the bottom with odds and ends that I need. So it’s all together for the job.

I'm an industrial sheet metal worker in Canada, I have used this bag for over a year and a half And in my line of work it gets a full on beating, Super heavy weights, Bad weather, Extreme temperatures. It has survived all of these instances and not a stitch has come undone nor is there a wrinkle or tear. The compartments are great and the packout ensures I can sort out whatever I want to carry. It gets a 12 out of 10 from me.

Hi Brad, Hey on a different note on bags and backpack. Milwaukee has a 15 inch tote / handle bag. I know you mention on another video you didn't care for the shallow pocket. It looks like the 15 inch tote is a little deeper. It seems like it's made more for electrician. Just wanted to share.

I do like the the fact you can put the small packout parts organizers on the bottom. Thats pretty slick! I wonder how weather resistant it is? One of the things that intrigues me about the back pack setup as apposed to the open soft tote is its potential weather protection. Oh and curious where do ya put your imact driver/drill in that setup? Didnt see it in the bag but assume its there somewhere, or do ya just set it in the middle there between the two clamshell sides in the main compartment? Gotta admit it looks pretty cool and another thing ive been thinking about is a backpack setup lets you carry longer tools and still be able to zip the bag closed for tool loss prevention, weather protection, and probably a bit of security depending on your work site environment.
@ggsdude1
@ggsdude1 3 года назад
There isnt a specific spot to put drills in, rather you just throw it in somewhere in the main compartment. I found this backpack gets really heavy quick so if you do lots of stairs or walking on jobsite etc you might have to cut it down to barebones tools to not risk being the hunchback of notre dame. I have the packout system and i throw mine on top of the rolling box but i still cut down my hand tools to the bare necessity in the bag in case i gota run up the stairs or the skip isnt working, even then i dont like how heavy it feels on tje back even when ive already minimized my tools...perhaps due to it not being compact and there is dead space in the main compartment its making it feel heavy.

M not sure about the packout version, but I have the full size tool version for my go bag in industrial maintenance. It's about 40 lb loaded with Hammers, chisels, pliers, etc etc and I don't treat it nicely. I forklift it, toss it on carts, set it I oil etc. It's held up incredibly well over the year I've used it.

From my experience, bookbags are not well suited for plumbing. More for electricians or other trades that require small hand tools. I had one of the older style bookbags and had a hard time fitting my wrenches, hacksaw, drills, torch and gas can in it. I switched to a 15" open end packout bag for my plumbing tools and it serves me much better than the book bag.

I’m going to tell you why all bags suck compared to veto bag…neoprene pockets. No other bag has the stretchy neoprene pockets. You can fit so many tools of different shapes in those. Also the 5 year warranty. I’ve worked with guys that have this bag and traditional tool pack packs like this are obsolete. They falls over, you have to open it all the way to get at your tools. Pockets are tight. The veto stuff stands, never fall, plastic bottoms, long warranty, plus spring promotions, so a 300 dollar bag might come with a free 150 dollar bag, which makes veto bags cheaper than a milwaukee bag….I bought a “cheap” 200 dollar ergodyne backpack, that thing went back fast, fraying threads, no neoprene. Junk for keeping organized. Get a veto tech pac mc. You’ll be so happy you did.
