I buy a silly archetype full of little guys: no support, I am tarred and feathered at my locals, wife leaves me I skip on a silly archetype full of little guys: konami releases good cards for it, prices for singles spike, they top my locals, ex-wife is now their wife
That "what a fucking moron" almost killed me. I was mouthing "what a nice young man" for a solid 20 seconds there and its like a truck swerved directly into my forehead at record speeds. 10/10
Knight's Flip effect is definitely relevant, same with him being the 2nd best extender (and by a long shot). No way you play more than 1, and he isn't mandatory, but playing 1 copy doesn't hurt and can surprise people. Charm is obviously the best extender. Slime is an extender in the worst of situations, but his Flip effect is amazing. He could easily be a 1-of depending on how consistent the deck is now, but I wouldn't fault people for running more copies. Giant is insane, and is the final sign to confirm that Mimighoul is made for Ghostrick enjoyers. You guys say he wins in time, but he can just as easily take away the bottom half of your opponent's life for game. Throne is nuts. A bit trickier to use, but definitely great for generating advantage and the disruption is amazing. Fork seems bad at a glance due to letting the opponent pick, but honestly either outcome is strong and it just grabs another copy. If it's a Trade-In that searches another copy of itself at worst, then we don't have much to complain about. Just don't fire it off if you're relying on 1 monster to floodgate the opponent with Dungeon. I don't think it's a must-have in every variant, but it's a really solid 2-of in pure. Charm is nice because it just sticks there and applies pressure. Every time you do what you do, this thing goes off, *twice* per turn. Either people will waste a resource on this, or you can snipe your opponent's outs or combo pieces. No matter if your opponent removes this or ignores it, it's a wrong choice on their part. People who don't play nuanced gamestate-focused decks like Ghostrick or Mimighoul won't see the value in this, but it just sitting there is a looming threat. I just can't wait to see if the OCG gives this deck another card when they get it. I'm hoping for a [2 monsters, including a "Mimighoul" monster] Link 2 to make Charm and Cerberus stronger.
I'm just waiting for the set up where you flip your own armor to give your opponent an battle protected monster with 600 attack. the deck already has access to a lot of options for bypassing the opponents field to deal damage,
Armor will be played, because even though its flip effect is cheeks, it is arguably the easiest to special summon. Ignore the shit battle effect, it's an extender and that's it.
We've always known that mbt is a classist though, after he bought a house he isn't the same person... Like he even stopped making the turbo tuesdays just because he became a greedy capitalist, exploiting rainbow capitalism to slowly accumulate more money and power... /s
Yeah. Dominus impulse permanently floodgates you out of the effects of certain attributes, including Earth, so the flip effects of the donated mimighouls will never fire.
obedience schooled package since it is level 2 or lower beast monsters from the deck, and meake the generic mimighoul xyz, dullahan, or princess-sprite.... OR: don't do that and play the fiendsmith fabled package with either dark world dealings or one for one...... what else... what else: you can go full 2010 and play giant rat..... what else what else......................................................................... LAVAL HANDMAIDEN/fire lady/level 2 laval 2ner- PACKAGE WITH REKINDLING HOLY SHIT!!!! molten conduction field. unexpected dai with lvl 1 normal monsters: jabait with the LEGSODIA! there can be only one timer stall with mimighoul stun/fossildyna/earth barrier statue since it is a rock, and level 4/gallant granite(book of moon shenanigans). pain all level 1 spells/traps are basically for freaking normal monsters.. what is konami thinking? OSS snake-eyes package.
Doesn’t dungeon allow you to special summon from graveyard? Just let them destroy what they have and then bring it right back. And since fork can banish itself to get another one, you can essentially have three turns to draw three cards if needed, which hopefully you won’t. I also think the extra bodies could be nice. Nibiru aside, you have 6 archetypes to dish out to your opponent or use their effect to get bodies on the field. Don’t think fork is great but this deck is definitely giving you everything you need to bring out your best extra deck cards in one turn
I mean, armour has the worst, like, lockdown effect but it has one unique effect for itself that the others don't - it's the only one that special summons itself without needing you to control a face up mimmighoul already. you put one of the *good* ones on your opponents field then you can summon this guy to then summon another and get throne without using your normal. so like I'm not saying play this guy at 3, but also
No wonder children aren't ripping yugioh packs like crazy. There's a divide of demographics in the fanbase lineage. haha.... Besides this, those new mimighoul cards will be insane
Fork doesn't alway give you +1. Because depend on mimighoul monster, opp can just choose to flip it. Like mimighoul armor, mimighoul fairy, tdragon or even cerberus .thoso flip things do nothing in 1st so opp can just flip and you go +0. If you must give them archfiend/slime, it's better to keep it on the field/flip it instead for +2/+3
I'd play 2 of each of Armor and Fairy. Besides them being extenders, Mimiclay can be played in this deck going first. So you'll always have a monster to summon from deck for Xyz. And since you can "force" the opponent to activate effects from the flipping Mimighouls, you can main Thrust to search Mimiclay if needed
I'm super curious what the last 2 unopened boxes are. Glad we got the one off Maker's art in armor. But who is on Dungeon? And now, we have the box on Fork that I would bet is a minotaur. Also, we need a mimighoul xyz that is made with another xyz, and have it be a new version of Master jumping out of Throne.
With the exception of matchups were Fairy is insane like Ryzeal and Spright Slime and Archfiend are going to be your best targets because it either allows you the ability to double hand rip and draw or if your opponent chooses Slime to be special summoned to their field it turns Dragon into a 1 card double rank 1 xyz. This is the reason why Slime, Archfiend, and Maker are mandatory 3 ofs. If people haven't comprehended why that is its because when you special summon off of Maker you haven't used Archfiend and Slimes special summon effects meaning that you trigger them on your turn and then trigger them again on the opponents turn. If that doesn't make things worse for your opponents Snake-Eyes can get you Borrelguard and Princess.
I feel like slimes gotta be at least a 2 of right, he feels like grave squirmer in yubel. Hes not a starter but any two card combo where one card is this guy feels insane
besides the obvious dominus impulse hard countering the deck, this 2nd wave is great. Fork is bad, charm is mid, but everything else is good. Maker is now a real 1 card starter that guarantees you a endboard of a bounce, room, dungeon, and follow-up regardless of the outcome and in most, or all hands. You can make the end board better with F0 or I:P into S:P or use another engine to make it better. Deck, at least pure wise, is much more playable and has a identity and competent end boards for what it does
Wdym the reason you think Mimighoul isn't sexy is a child while saying that Acti is? Are you really implying that Acti isn't a child? Are we really looking at the same card?
One time I went to talk to Joseph at an event and he was like get out of my face, you are a child, get your bread up and then come speak to me. Honestly he was right.
I'm glad i finally get to disagree with Peeps again after the last reveal, because I don't think these are that good. Deck's still gonna be borderline Rogue at best.
thats better than basically all prior tcg exclusive archetypes for a long time, and thats all it really needs to be. A meta tcg exclusive would have actually been asking the impossible from konami
Borderline rogue is Bad?????? For a TCG exclusive?????? FOR A FLIP ARCHETYPE????? Dude being borderline rogue is the best thing you could ever say about a deck with everything going against it
I think you are suppose to use Knight yourself as an attack target. If it's flip summoned, you give it to your opponent, and if you have a beater that can attack multiple times, but only against monsters, you deal a lot of damage. If you give it to your opponent, yeah they can't beat over your guys, but there's a juicy 600 attack guy that's just asking to be beat up. If Dungeon's not out or a way to put it in defense, it's a sitting duck.
Peeps remined me of the Susan skits from SNL played by Kristen Wigg, where she can't keep a secret and is anxiously overexcited about keeping secrets 😂
One of my friends suggested I play this archetype and I have been playing it as a pet deck ever sense, love these card and I'm glad they are getting good support. Maybe now I will be able to use them in friendlies as anything other than a joke.
As an old head toon tard from duel links into master duel, that tried to do dragon maid but still wasn’t really able to follow combos really well, this archetypes art style and play style excites me enough to really wanna play this deck. Hell even in a IRL format.
It’s a little bit weird people going “hmmmm actually you cannot be happy because this deck doesn’t beat the meta decks and it’s bad” one why does it need to be meta for you to like it? and second you would be crying if they made the deck that plays stun cards top tier, seems like people just want to be salty no matter what these days
I just CANNOT see this archtype being good. There's just too many ways to out it while going plus. Activate Poly. Tribute summon Fenrir. Ritual summon something with the facedown cards. Yeah, there are some ways to flip their cards on command, like Sol and Luna, but like... That must feel bad right? Especially if it's in response to a board wipe like Interrupted Kaiju Slumber. The XYZs are cracked for the archtype, but I just can't see it getting off the ground to even play with the XYZs. Am I missing something here? The Archtype still doesn't DO anything, right?
