Nothing better than homemade mince pies. When my mum comes up for Christmas she always brings mince pies and they are so much better than the store-bought pies.

That is so great that you're doing these! We got some last year as a gift but would love to make it at home. Making them gluten free would be even better. Nicely done friend. We can imagine that your home was smelling amazing. We would eat so many of those!!

Hello Karen, these look really good. Love your video skills. I loved the special drinks too. You made everything look so pretty. The shaking of the Christmas Spirits was really good. I too would not make the one that you cooked it too a really long time. that would be one that maybe could be put into a crock pot and stirred every now and them and let is just cook. I do have a little time off. Had planned a few more Christmas vids - but all of a sudden it was 22 December 😂 better start planning now for next year. I should ask you - any youtube plans for 2021?? I am in the midst of thinking about that now ... just interested to hear what you are thinking about 🧐🎄🥦

@@RenLuuk 2021 will be similar to this year where it will be outdoor areas where we can social distance. Roadside Attractions and National Parks. Probably Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone are 2 that we are looking at. But after we get the vaccine, maybe we can sneak a trip late in the year. And either late 2021 or Early 2022 - maybe that Australia/New Zealand trip if things are better and good price (since demand won't be so high yet). How about you?

Thinking might do a bit more legal content ... talk about criminal cases ... trying to come up with an original approach. Possibly some art. Looking for something to produce that does not take so long to edit. Experimenting with short videos as well - like the last one I did. That just took a couple of hours to edit. Big difference to my usual ones that take a few days. So changing things up to get more content out there. At least that is the plan.

I actually did this video for all of you North American’s that don’t know this great British baking tradition. One of my parents was English so I grew up assuming everyone knew what these were. Definitely a favorite with my two 🥰🎄🙏

Ok, so I have actually never had a Mince Pie. Thanks for sharing. What is Mince? I could google it but just letting you know I honestly don't know. What do they taste like?

CHRIS!!!! So so great to hear from you, my friend!! Mince (or mincemeat) is basically candied fruit. Mainly raisins and bits of orange or lemon. It has a mixed spice in it and sugar. Sort of like pumpkin spice, cinnamon and cloves. Really lovely. I’m hoping I can start North America falling in love with these little gems. How are you anyway? Terrific to “talk” again 🚴‍♀️ 🌬🥰🎄🙏
