8 WEEK CHALLENGE!!! Mindful meditation has been found to literally change the brain when done for 30 minutes during an 8 week period of time! (Read this article for more info: hbr.org/2015/01/mindfulness-can-literally-change-your-brain#:~:text=Neuroscientists%20have%20also%20shown%20that,thinking%2C%20and%20sense%20of%20self. ) I challenge you to carve out of your life just 30 minutes a day - if you have undergone long term stress, if you endured childhood trauma, narcissistic abuse or are recovery from complex ptsd - this should not be optional. Brain training is a necessary component to being able to truly recovery from the damage that long term emotional trauma has on the brain. I would love to hear your results!!!!!!!!!!

My belly area is probably the worst out of my whole body. Sitting and focusing on this region is not easy at all. Feels like 90% of my digestive system has completely shut down, and it has a lot of additional side effects, but overall a feeling of extreme heaviness and lots of dizziness, together with a feeling of impending doom. It really is incredible how you can still be alive, yet feeling like you gonna die at any moment....from when your eyes open , till when you go to sleep at night. What a life....🥴😖

Good meditation, but it's not for CPTSD. It's just like any other meditation.

@@user-jm6ds5dz3t The key to recovering from PTSD or CPTSD is about making your brain feel SAFE again. Whichever technique you choose to get there, it's about rewiring your neural connecitons to promote a sense of SAFETY instead of fear and chronic hypervigilance. It's about learning that you can still be safe and have a fulfilling life, even though ____ happened. A simply calming meditation is not effective because it doesn't address the core issues. Agreed it's not for every CPTSD survivor.. i feel overwhelmed by so many demands in this meditation, way too busy for me to relax.
