What about the FM ? Is it TZ as well ? Not much examples on how the FM sounds in extent. Both oscs can be FMd, so cross mod is possible which is good. Although has to be patched. Also, the Mod bus wave, is it the same as connecting the wave output of OSC1 to the Mod Bus Source?

At around 6:04 you mention through-zero amplitude modulation. Am I wrong in thinking that is ring modulation?

@@rulindachatt So, then the answer is yes. through-zero amplitude modulation is ring modulation. Seems like it is easier to say ring modulation, I just never heard it called through-zero amplitude modulation.

You got it yup! Sorry for the confusion. I had meant to use both terms interchangeably in the video, and thought I did. Perhaps a shot of that didn't make it in.

I wonder if there's anything that can be done about the rampoid glitch. Filtering it out is definitely not an option in a vast majority of sound design cases. What this means is that anything that comes out of this module in that mode will be colored by this artifact. I was personally hoping for something that is more transparent. Not that I'm mad or anything, I'm probably still a buyer, I'd just love it if there was a solution to that problem.

I recommend the use of a digital PM implementation if you want cleaner sounds from the phase accumulator. Edit: you can manually offset the phase and also dial things in to help eliminate it, but it never truly disappears inside the module in that mode. This is because the fall time of an analog ramp wave is finite. Well, they all are finite. But in the case of analog it's a heck of a lot slower than other methods.
