the radar is actually a thing you could unlock in past versions and it extend the fog of war. never used for that little i played it because it uses too much power
using the extreme latest versions, the turrets and radar are usable, the thing being there are even more turrets (titan and another missile-launching one) and the radar being used to see in the black fog on the campaign
These new units look like they come from some third faction on erekir that is aggressive to everyone And it probably will try to infect your water supply Actually i just remembered that anuke mentioned some [?] units and i think this might be it

Hmmm, i think Anuke won't stop on Erekir, there so much lore behind all of this, and I don't mind if the development is taking longer as long ss we can have another faction/planets, like alien or Biomech factions here is pretty new
fissile matter and dormant cyst can be found in the editor's loadout configurations for some reasons edit: and also a build had a turret called "fracture" which resembles lustre, it was removed in the next build
Latum would probably be nerfed because a horde of them would be unstoppable and also practically unkillable, if one dies near a water supply then it would be game over as the other Latum's have an constantly generating pool of health
This cancer stuff sounds like a bioweapon. It grows extremely fast, is SENTIENT (Capable of decision-making), and can grow into huge units that need to consume itself to heal? This stuff is self-propagating off of one of the most abundant materials in the galaxy (I think H2O is very common). This stuff is terrifying, and I am all for it. I hope that we get more of the Neoplasm based units in the future.
Theres gonna be 3 final turrets one is a 5x5 turret named “ravage” and it is the first 5x5 turret in mindustry history not including mods and the other two havent been made in the code yet. Check unspoiled in assets-raw to see nuke assemblers, warheads, and silos, there is also a cell synthesizer factory Edit: the cell synthesizer might be for creating the neoplasm “cancer” and dormant cyst is like a “sleeping tumor” so maybe that is for the worm parasite unit latum
radar makes you able to see on the map where it is dark, like when you start on the map a giant piece of the map is dark you can place turrets, units or the radar his range gradually increase and when it is destroyed you can only see the floor of the place nothing that is going on in it (you need to test it to see how it works)

This faction maybe a disposed Bioweapon that either used by Malis or it's original AI( Let's called it, Proto-Malis) against the Precursor AI, which is the ancestor of Crux and the incarnation of Sharded and the living being of the Direlect, because Precursor AI used Serpulo units, it's get hard time against Malis or Proto-Malis, so it's nuke some of Malis or Proto-Malis Base, and because of that, Malis or Proto Malis decide to make a plan or it will clapped to scratch, Malis or Proto-Malis discovered one of his nuke design corrupted the Arthycite into a living abomination, so it used that abomination to create a weapon that was strong, effective, less resources required, and fast easy to produce, that weapons are the Proto-Mass units, like Latum and Meat Fortress, these units crush the Hell of Precursor, because Malis can't directly control this beast, it create an sort of hivemind that will command these units and get order from Malis itself, this hivemind is the first core of the Mass Faction, this help Malis to win against the Precursor, and the loss of Precursor rise to a new level when Crux clapped it's cheeks, but before Precursor lose, it's download some primitive stolen tech from Malis, so that's how Mindustry started, after Sharded clapped Crux cheeks, he goes to Erekir using these garbage technology against Malis and destroy Malis itself, but Malis forget to tell it's former nemesis about the Bioweapon because it thinks it's former nemesis know the Bioweapon as well. But Sharded confusion, the Mass strike and it realize Malis betrayed it's creations because of fear of being overthrown after it heard it's nemesis falls in the hand of Crux. And V8 started, but Sharded didn't see it's worst fear in the faction, the Latum.
I think anuke is trying to add a virus faction in mindustry maybe in the next campaign we can find a sector containing the virus maybe an attack map which there's a lot of dierlict structures who knows
I think that neoplasm could be used as a bio weapon to disrupt your enemy's turrets and other systems. Like think if you put neoplasm in a wave turret.
As half of the things in this video are already in game, I guess Anuken will add everything from this hidden content, though it's unlikely that each one of gier, notva and verlius will be added because they look almost the same
Maybe the last three will be fused into one big bundle? Maybe it can be the smallest out of all planets and have a feature in which a player is forced to clear all the sectors of the "cluster" in order to proceed to the next one
there is a couple details wrong about fissile matter: 1. It's likely 235(what is used in fission) and it should also contain 238(the far more common isotope) as well (I'm not a nuclear physicist, that is just common ish knowledge) 2. Is that it is made (refined) out thorium as thorium is an utterly different more common radioactive substance, better for making power, not good for making things explode, though it might make up a relatively large percentage of the thorium ore on Erkir
With the planets the only new real planet is Tantros since the others look like they are rather asteroids that we can see orbiting the star in the V7 build
I almost know all of this but not the factory, turrets, the small unit i know latum some admin gave us in a attack map its fun lol and the factory that produce fissile matter
i still confused with erikir like the turrets are look cool but the damage its kinda lacking tbh it took a minute for breach to take out a line of enemy i even use the piercing shot or stels are too strong
@@ElectricGun100 probably also the new missile launcher is OP at destroying enemy base plus its homing well it shot units anyway so air defense gonna shot at it
yes and no first the core unit cant attack so you forced to use turrets or units to defend and fog of war effect just make the game very limited so you must expect where is the enemy base is from where the units attack if there two cores it almostly a game over but i think erikir need a very much balancing
