Minecraft And Its Forgotten Mobs 

Those mobs in the Biome vote aren't cancelled, some of the developers already said that they will implement them in the game, but only in the future

Imagine if Mojang had added all of the eliminated mobs and othet features, Minecraft might be like a whole Fantasy world.

Actually, Mojang said that the meerkats, the ostrich, the termites, the frog, the vulture, the moobloom, and the iceologer are not completely gone, they're just gonna be added in a later update.

I probably would’ve voted for the sea monster or great hunger

Don't forget Notch also said that the red dragon was tameable and mountable, would be a great addition to the game

Everybody voted phantom but then instantly regret it, i love votes.

The fact that they're bringing frogs and chests that are able to be put into boats in the new WIld update gives me hope that the other mobs could still be added to the game

I genuinely hate the mob polls. Not only are the winners often disappointments, but it makes the game so much smaller than what it could be, and slightly less interesting overall. And as the glowsquid situation proved with a certain speedrun cheater, they're also incredibly easy to corrupt.

I think Mojang should do a “Forgotten Ideas Poll” in which players would be able to vote for forgotten mobs and biomes.

Imagine there's an update in the future called"Return of the Rejects" where they brought back the rejected mobs in the game but not just mobs also blocks and items and biomes as well Edit: The Comment Section Became A Group Chat

I still stand by the fact that that four-jawed sea monster would have been way better for the aquatic update. Y'know, considering it's an aquatic enemy, and the fact that the phantoms were implemented poorly.

Im so happy Mojang still decided to add the Swamp update

The biome updates are really needed I think more than the new mobs in them. Updated deserts , swamps, and badlands will change the game and exploration in such a positive way.

I wish the glow squid was atleast somewhat different than just a reskin. It could be like a subnautica enemy where it was bioluminescent and acrually glowed but also was huge and attacked you but alas its garbage and useless.

Community: The moobloom is so cute, and the Iceologer is very interesting, they should win Dream's fanbase: haha neon squid go brrr

Why doesn't Mojang just add all of them. It's torture making us pick just one.

literally the whole reason rl craft got popular were in part because of dragons, that just gave the game such a adventurous and mythical feel to it, that i feel like would play out the same for minecraft

Every time one of these mob votes arises, I always think to myself “why can’t we just have all of them?” It’d make everyone happy! (as long as they’re not annoying, of course)

everyone’s talking about wanting the sea-monster mob, but i’m gonna be honest, if it were chosen, i’d be crying every time i ventured out to sea LMAO

The iceolloger would have maybe won if it was called "The Chillager"

Keep in mind that the losing mobs from the biome votes are confirmed to come to Minecraft at some point, slight chance to make it in the 1.20 update

I know others have commented about this, but just to clarify: all biome updates are going to occur, just later down the line, which is why the swamp was updated so much later.

The hovering inferno would have probably been the best since we haven’t really had an update to the Nether Fortress for a few years

Good thing that the Wild Update was announced, I’d say that it’s a good time for all (or at least a few) of these to be added!

After a couple of months stuff has changed and now we are actually getting the swamp biome with frogs boats with chests and more

I think if they decide to add dragons they should use the models of "Ice and Fire" mod. It has really good looking dragons.

actually the biomes that were in the biomes vote and don't won, will eventually updated. Probably these biomes will comes with a future "biome update"

I really wish they added "The Hovering Inferno". It isn't that annoying as Phantom or Kraken, but it looks really cool, his attack is really cool and most importantly he spawns in the nether so he wouldn't be such a threat through the most of a game.

I love all of these, so I'll put the ones I wanted for each year. 2017: Phantoms are cool but I think that they weren't executed well but it gives you a reason to sleep. The monster of the deep sea would be the one I want although I think it should start dying if it goes to the surface since pressure. I love the great hunger too but I think it would work best as a rarer mob. 2018: Savannah, I love ostriches. I feel like giving the termite the ability to decompose wood if it spawns next to it and turning hostile or running away if you break the mound would be nice. 2019: I like the badlands a lot aesthetically but it didn't need the update, I'm biased a lot towards vultures but I think their ability would be annoying from a gameplay stand point. 2020: Moobloom all the way, I don't really like the glow squid that much. It would be cool that if you shear it and fed it a flower it would then grow that flower on it's back but then that would make buttercups harder to find if the moobloom was the only source of them. Hopefully I didn't mess up the years and canidates.

So basically your telling us we got the shittiest mob on the list. Sick..

You can help them defend against raids and zombie hordes and they will help you if you are attacked by mobs as long as you are in sight of them and if you do something bad to the Iron Golems and villagers they will kill you and they cannot bw traded with. I think 1.19 should just be a surprise where they add all of the mobs and biomes that weren’t added but were an option in votes.

The swamp biome didnt get updated and frogs, treasure boats were not added then. But now in the wild update, they added all of those things. So maybe one of the mobs from the past might be added in the game in the future updates.

Imo they should add all of them but do it so some of them only spawn on certain difficulties. And make new biomes (for example a volcano for the red dragon) where some could spawn. It would make minecraft so much better

I love ALL the shelved mobs! I love illagers and the Iceologer would be perfect and I love monsters and reptiles so that disenchanter trap with the appetite woulld be really really cool!

I definitely would like to see them add more to desert and swamps and I think the red dragon is cool but why not have a dragon type for each biome but only one biome you can find eggs and you need silk touch to move them (kinda like the dragon mod but instead of elements it is biomes)

Fun fact: the new mob vote in 2021 for wild update was actually and old biome vote, tis called, the swamp biome, it has mangrove swamps, and frogs, but only veterans will know that frogs and mangrove swamps are coming back

I wanna see an update called "The Forgotten Ones Update", where they add every mob and biome that did not win in the mob votes.

Seeing this after minecraft live 2021. So awesome that the rejected swamp overhaul got used anyways, but for 1.19 instead... So apparently its not impossible for rejected stuff to be added later... I hope the bad lands overhaul and the icelogger will get added

I think the Inferno Thing would’ve been perfect for the nether, as Fortresses haven’t had an update since they were added, I think.
