I was able to make a Minecraft mod with Java but only thanks to tutorials. Regardless, I understand most Java syntaxs and parameters.

This feels like the guy is making a lander to mars, and you can only control it from mission control. Exept the lander is a minecraft mining bot, mars is the OTV minecraft server and mission control is his home

I haven’t tested all of the interactions, but just FYI, there are a ton of things you can get the turtles to do outside of their basic API functionality which are extensions of certain mods in the pack. RFTools probably is the quirkiest with, for example, shield generation. If you combine them with the fact that your turtles can output redstone signals without placing a block, and can fit into 1x1 spaces, you can more or less make turtle areas that are off-limits to players. It is also possible to consolidate your turtles’ inventories with the use of ender chests. I haven’t fully figured out how to utilize something like an ME system yet with it, but you can at least guarantee that all turtles can tap into a centralized fuel bank with potentially some basic item processing. Extra utilities also adds a large degree of functionality due to redstone controls with something like the mechanical user, being able to imitate a player right click, for example. Still haven’t fully developed an auto chunk loading feature though. It seems like the default answer is just to chunkload with FTBUtilities, but obviously the turtles can’t do this. The answer is probably world spikes or whatever IC2 (gross) uses, but it saddens me how outdated those methods feel.

the actual code is like.... absolute gibberish to me, but this whole project is absolutely stunning, like I can't even figure out how to get these buggers to mine consistently and you wrote a whole thing to let you remote play on a server with them. just.... oh my god wow. Kudo's to you and I wish you the best with the future of your coding and the like. Super impressive man.

you should make a function for the turtles, to move around somewhat randomly looking for blocks and adding them to the map. It would require some pathfinding, but then some turtles could specialise in mapping out the world, while others build the colony. Then the next step would probably be flattening out areas to build houses and cities from a template, like the villages that generate in minecraft. Oh the possibilities are endless.. What a great thing you've made! I'm just so baffled someone even one year younger than me could put together something like this, and watching you do it, you certainly know a huge lot of things and write beautifully elegant code in no time at all.
