Minecraft Mod - Tiberium: Tiberium Growth and Poisoning

Can't show off too much, gotta leave some surprises XD. Also should have a working build downloadable in the next few days. Just gotta clean up some of the mess, can't have you downloading an unpolished turd. The plans I have for this mod are fairly ambitious considering it is my first real mod and I am working solo. It may take a while to fully realise everything.

@@amongous6913 Some self promotion might be a good idea. But I kind of don't like promoting myself on other peoples channels, It makes me feel kind of dirty. When I release the build this week, I'll be launching my own Discord server along with it, which may help get things rolling, And will make organizing this kind of thing easier in the future. I do thank yourself and the other viewers for your interest in the project, as it does give me the motivation to continue the development.

There were 2 strains cut from tiberian sun called Aboreus and Cruentus and decided to use them here. I gave cruentus the color red as cruentus is latin for blood stained, I gave the aboreus strain the color purple for no real reason other than I liked the look of it.

For converting biomes, Currently no, It is a function I have attempted to implement but so far have had no luck. Perhaps In time I will figure it out and add it, but will most likely absent at release. As for fields spreading, kind of, but is a bit of a performance drain. Will need to be reworked.

@@Brohammer0001 oh right thats pretty neat, there was a mod back in the day that would let you terraform wonder if it can be found and the original dev is willing to show you/tell you.

If it detects there being crystal in all 4 directions it could change to an inactive block that doesn't check. To save cpu on large fields. I for one very exited to see this mod. Ive looked for one like this since Minecraft release.

GDI and Nod Hazmat Suits, Zone trooper armor and Black Hand armor will all offer protection from Tiberium poisoning, but won't offer the bonuses that infusion or divination provide.

I haven't finished making it yet. Have had some trouble with programming some of the spreading behavior and making the Ichor Hub Dimension, which has also go in the way of modeling new mobs and items. Perhaps I should make some kind of technical preview available when I have the time, I'll let ya know.
