Here is the World Download: www.mediafire.com/file/cy39415apaeeteb/MICRO_IRON_FARM_1.18_BUILD.zip/file Thanks for stopping by, hope this Iron Farm can get you going in your Hardcore Worlds! FYI this is the exact design I started with on Day 4 in my Hardcore World! Enjoy!
Anyone facing no spawn issues: Instead of the lower carpet, add an open trapdoor with carpet on top Cover the zombies face to get the villages to sleep and do work the work at night remove the trapdoor above their heads The middle villager isn't able to reach his bed so it stops spawning to fix that you need to add the trap door to make it a moveable restricted space The lack of a trap door on top should show you if the villagers are scared or not allowing you to make any other adjustments needed they should be flopping up and down like crazy this fix after removing the face covering on the zombie should immediately fix the spawner
Ooh, I like this design. I just took down a massive farm, and paid the villagers well. But if I want to replenish, since I didn't realize how much iron I'd need for lanterns on my super skyway, I shall do this.
And now, with the iron you got, make a bunch of hoppers and place where the chest is and all the way to the ground and place the chest there instead, so you don't have to go up every time.
Great video! love the compact form and will definitely try this one in my survival world. By the way, I never got a notification or anything that you had a new channel for your tutorials / farms, just found this channel via recommendations.
Hi Chapman, this is probably not a question you see often, but I play in super flat world and sand to make glass is not common early game, is the glass neccessary for this build?
BIG PROBLEM: the villager in the middel cant reach his bed so it will soon stop spawn iron Golems. FIX: instead of the trapdoor over the head of the villagers - replace the lower carpet with an opened trapdoor (that the middel villager can reach his bed) you´re welcome.
I do a lot of farms in my survival world but I don't have enough iron to do the hoppers and the pistons, so I have to mine. Now I don't have to mine everytime! Thank you!
Thank you so much, very simple and with mine being on an online server in the spawn chunks i didnt need some massive 10k iron an hour type farm, just wanted something simple thatll get me what i need and ill have plenty of iron once i need it, thank you!
it worked really well for the first hour or so but then it just stopped working, i tried the trapdoor thing but nothing changed. any help would be amazing thank you.
I see tons of comments saying click bait or it doesn’t work but nah this is the best! I built it like 4 4 hours ago and I have been afk since and I have got over a stack of blocks of iron! This farm works great and is amazing for short compact and less work. Doesn’t produce as much as those massive tons of work farms but that’s why this is so nice. Without tons of work, you can get enough iron. I won’t need iron ever again! Thank you so much @Chapman_Farms
i have a problem with mine, the golem only spawned once in the designated area and it never spawn again. Ive also inverted the bed so already what should i do? theres also no other blocks or anything within the radius of the farm what seems to be the problem?
I'm having the same problem. Came to the comments to see if anyone else had the same issue. 😭 I'm going to try a flower pot in place of the top carpet and see if that helps their line of sight, if not I have no idea what is wrong cause it's built in spawn chunks and built exactly as this video says.
I pillared up and flipped both the trap door in front of the zombie (block him in first so he can't walk out) and I flipped the trap door above the villagers heads (just open and close it) and it seems to be working now? It is built in spawn chunks, so I'll go on an adventure and check it in a little while. If it still works I'll report back because that may be the solution, flipping the trap doors open and closed. Also, I never replaced the carpet just a heads up.
Also I don’t have a nametag. Please pretend like the player is trying to play without any cheats. Everything in this build was difficult. - the lava disappeared when I applied it to the corner - the build speed made it difficult to follow, I had to slow it down to 25% - couldn’t get the villagers up to the beds - couldn’t close the back trapdoor - couldn’t get the zombie to enter stone area with the trapdoors - after everything, the 2 alive villagers left alive don’t give a crap about the zombie that’s 7 blocks away.
@@svenanderson9085 you did it wrong, if you can't get a zombie in, figure it out yourself, he can't do it for you, it works, you are just relying too much on it, as for cheats, you don't need cheats for a name tag...
I’m trying this farm on ps4 but my villagers aren’t going to the beds. I removed all the beds in the village and I’m trying to lure them closer with another bed but everytime I break it they run away.
I had a golem spawn right away. But after he perished in the lave the next golem spawned on the ground. I killed it and nothing has spawned since. Suggestions?
I'm no expert, but the only thing I can imagine would be you didn't build it high enough off the ground. Maybe try to remove a layer or two of ground from underneath the farm? If you're still trying to figure it out a month later that is. 😅
My zombie won’t fit in his box. I’ve everything else set up perfectly ready to go, I’ve his name tag and all..this is my final step. Anyone I’ve any ideas?
so many iron farms available and most of them suck. i rather like this one its too bad it seems kind of buggy but i apricate all the anticipated fixes.
Yes, but depending on how deep you want it you may need to cover/slab nearby caves or small holes as golems can spawn even on 2 blocks high and die somewhere else.
While I get the fun in exploring proof of concepts, I find farms like this to be way more complicated and buggy than they're worth. This need to build in the air is creating more problems than it's worth. I have a 9x9 cube made entirely of dirt on the ground and it's never once needed resetting or correcting. It's also barely noticeable from a distance.
These designs are literally flawless! I use this layout and concept for all my iron farms including the 16 pod iron farms and have never run into a problem. Iv created 3 on ground iron farms and even a few underground designs. They are just as flawless as well
