Minecraft's SMARTEST ESCAPE ROOM - The Hopper 

At first, I didn't know this premiere was going to occur. But then i had a very good idea. I used F5. See, using F5 gave me a whole new perspective and i was able to see a premiere i couldn't have seen before.

This was the first Kenadian video I watched, and I thought it was funny by itself, but then I had a very good idea. I watched the playlist. See, watching the playlist gave me a whole new perspective and I was able to see jokes I couldn't have seen before.

"But then I had a very good idea: I added in lore. See, adding in lore makes the viewers more invested into the video and allow me to use this hopper as a starting point for my biggest story idea yet."

Actually, a boss level in a puzzle game that has puzzle items in containers falling from the sky to attack you sounds really interesting and fun! It could be chaotic and suprizing ly fast for a puzzle game. Of course, they wouldn't spawn in the frequency of the hoppers in that shot, but I think it would be fun!

Hoppers are actually significantly less laggy when they are under a container, because they don't check for items anymore. It would be create more lag if the hoppers were in alternating layers of air and hoppers. This is why technical builders tend to put composters on top of exposed hoppers.

I went from the original seawatt debunk, through the omz arc, and now this, in one night. What a rollercoaster.

In all this amazing video (including debunk of it, released later) there’s one huge moment when Kenadian knew he fcked up. You had a wooden axe in your hotbar for a second. World edit was quite useful for placing hoppers I suppose

i really like how this actually utilizes the unique properties of hoppers as part of the “solution” instead of only using them as glorified chests, S tier video

By the way: Hoppers that don’t have inventories above them are significantly laggier, so alternating layers of hoppers and air will get you more lag, and definitely take less time to build.

I really appreciate the way kenadian has subtle references to other prison youtubers like IvoryCello and others

The writing, voice acting, logic ,shaders and cinematic shots are perfect i like stories that outsmarts the audience and outplays the villain you’ve really brought a whole new perspective onto this whole genre

Honestly, I really like the idea of ending the escape room with a final boss that is connected to the escape room rather than just simply escaping. It looked intense and felt like it was seriously testing what you knew and what you had learned from the escape room in order to defeat the final boss. Best escape room video imo :D

I like the fact that you took almost everything in Omz's "prison/escape room" and make WAY BETTER version also adding stories to it. It's amazing

I've never watched any of this guy's videos before. Don't know what type of content he makes, so I went into this expecting just a regular escape room video. But I was very entertained by the sudden change of genre lol

It's pretty neat how it goes from "The solution is (inside) a hopper" since Omz primarily got the tools he needed from random hoppers, to the hoppers themselves being the solution to the challenges. Only downside though (if you assume this is meant to be a real escape room), constantly disconnecting from the server when going through lava is a pain. Also wondering if the infinite hopper spawner is even feasible (without someone continually placing/creating more in the background). Nevertheless, fantastic video.

*standing ovation* This was incredible! Everything was so well executed, especially the writing and it felt like a genuine show written and produced by a whole team! I really liked that to defeat the “villain” you didn’t have to face them head on or do some power of friendship nonsense but actually found a way to make something that was an obstacle before, into the weapon that helped you seek victory. Your character knew they were an a time limit due to their urgency but it wasn’t one of those cliché: “Oh my, I completed the task with a second to spare!” And I really liked that. Without feeling too stiff or forced, you created a well executed story while making us unsuspecting of the plot, which created a unexpected and satisfying twist at the end, and by bringing in past references that made the story all the more believable and humorous! Truly, Well done!

I can’t decide what is better. Smii7y creating an entire lore in teardown about him and a treadmill or this video about hoppers.

The amount of time and effort put into this deserves more likes, nice work(I liked the vid btw)

Great video. So my first instinct for the TNT Room was the thing you did to survive lava two minutes before.

As much as I love all those genius escape rooms, I kinda miss those simpler escape rooms from old times.

Showing off obscure Minecraft mechanics, using hoppers to actually solve a puzzle, putting the prison name and appearance into an actual theme, and making good puzzles all at once. This take time, effort, and craft.

Damn, I feel like I just watched a movie. Protagonist survives while going through the seemingly impossible challenges, only to realise that his will to escape from the trap led him into accidentally helping the antagonist. Antagonist then reaches his full power and is about to complete his plan. Protagonist then comes up with the idea how to defeat him, but the first plan (breaking the TNT) didn’t work. After a moment of confusion, he finds the working way to destroy the source of antagonist’s power and defeats him. There’s even another plot twist at the end. Truly one of the movies !

the plot twist was better than most movies. This was a masterpiece! I didn't see the plot twist coming, but than I had a great idea. You see, using f5 I was able to watch this video from a whole different perspective so I could realize the brilliancy of this (actually good)escape room.

if I had a nickel for every time a minecraft youtuber made an excessively engaging and enjoyable story entirely out of minecraft 'prison escape' videos that are really just escape rooms about weird minecraft knowledge and turned that set of videos into a full story with wonderful narratives and included a mask as a narratively important item, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but its weird that its happened twice. This has been a very enjoyable ride, and I appreciate the reference to Ivory and that series

For the grass block door there is actually a glitch we’re if you stand from a distance you can actually just break the blocks, not sure if it’s patched but yea 😊

I don't think the hoppers should cause that much lag though. When there is an inventory on top of an hopper, it skips a lot of the checks it needs to do, so it causes much less lag. That is why you place composters on top of hoppers to reduce lag

you could've escaped faster by pressing f5 (change perspective key), which would give you a new perspective. using f5 (change perspective key) to get a new perspective would allow you to see much more by changing your perspective with the f5 (change perspective key) key, by pressing f5 (change perspective key) to change perspective. I can't believe someone as good as escapes as you wouldn't try using f5 (change perspective key) to change your perspective

2:16 called it. Literally new that there would be a grey glass pane. Also I noticed that usually, you'd just jump straight to solution, not waste time like OMZ does, but I think you made this video COMPLETELY omz themed, so it was very realistic lol
