If you’re not getting the achievement it’s because when you go through the 1 by 1 you land right in the water which messes you up so make sure the 1 by 1 is 6 blocks above water for it to work.

I didnt know that the 1x1 hole had to be parallel to the ground, I was doing it straight standing up and trying to get a big lift then rocket boost thru, once I finally got it I was like yes! And then i didn’t get the achievement, and i was wondering why, and now I’ve realized I’ve wasted about an hour and a half of my time, doing pointless things.

I found a easier way to do this, just dig straight down and put water at the bottom of the hole then jump in and use the Elytra going straight down you will land then get the Achievement. Also great vid I only thought this challenge could be done horizontally rather than vertically thanks for giving me the idea!

I got the achievement by accident one time when I was going to the end to get some ender pearls and I decided why not fly down the hole to the end portal so I flew down it and got the achievement

@@DelicateTruth there has to be water in a 1 by 1 block hole. Make sure that there is a gap between the hole you fly down in and the hole with water

For people having trouble with this, build it how he builds it then about 3 or four blocks up from the base hole on the water just replicate the hole so you go through that and then the one on the water, or you could replicate the holes all the way up to around 30 blocks it will give you multiple chances in one jump. I did this and got it on my second try.

Thanks dude I’ve been working for the last few days to get this Super Sonic achievement. I had literally built a pillar that went to the sky limit which is 256 blocks and wasn’t getting it and in the way you told me how to do it they really helped me and it was the last achievement I needed to get so thank you very much you made a man happy

After trying 100 times, I finally did it in the tutorial world (Where you get an elytra and rockets already) Here's a few tips: -Just go to an ocean like he did and build to build limit to be sure. -Make sure you dont hit/scrape any blocks on the way down. -MAKE SURE you activate the elytra at the VERY last second (This is what I did to finally get it) -Use rockets to go faster (I also had a speed 1 beacon nearby, but I dont think that affects flying)

Something useful, if you don't have an elytra, use the tutorial world, for some reason you can still get achievements in tutorial worlds so you can get many achievements via tutorial (ex: the haggler, beaconator, the beginning.)

Step 1: Spend all of your XP, empty your inventory. Step 3: Mine down to near bedrock from the surface. Step 4: Go back to the surface, equip Elytra, and dive into the hole.

if your playing on xbox one or PS4 use the totorial world it gives you elatra wings without having to go the end and gives you 160 wool to use your tower :)

Ok quick tip: When doing this trophy/achievement make sure that you aren't wearing feathers falling and that your elytra isnt enchanted. If your elytra is enchanted it won't work for some reason. Cause i had to disenchant mine to get it to work.

It did work, and tou are right, do not activate the elytra in the beginning of the jump, activate it close to the gap.

For me I had to build a second 1x1 gap slightly above the water, and build all the way to the height limit, when I fell, shortly after I activated the elytra, then spun round and made sure I was against the wall (because as you activate it you will glide outwards), I couldnt get it to work by activating it at the last minute. I used a few rockets too, and I got it. Takes a while to pop sometimes on PC.

Been doing it multiple times but didn’t work HOW I GOT IT TO WORK: Building 100 blocks up. Make the 100 block drop a 1x1 tunnel. While your going through the tunnel activate your elytra till you get to the bottom don’t let it un-activate until you get into the water. So after falling through the first few blocks activate your elytra. Don’t wait until you are 10 or less blocks away from going through the 1x1 because that did not work for me

No those blocks dont work for a beacon. Only diamond/emerald/gold/netherite/iron

m/s wouldn't mean meters per square in minecraft... That would be a static value of 1 because each block is 1m x 1m x 1m 40 meters per second is equivalent to 40 blocks per second, not 40 meters per block.

Don't know why but it WONT WORK for me. I tried pretty much everything: -no feather falling -6blocks above water -gliding all the way -using rockets -pure survival ...still no achievement. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

@@vi5749 Sorry, I didn't update my comment. It finally worked after I put the hole about 10 blocks above the water. Guess the lower the processing capability the more time (=blocks) it needs to process.
